Just steps to gorgeous dunes/oceanfront on one side + tidal basin on the other. Don't miss the beautiful winter sunsets! Completely fenced yard. Newly renovated, spacious, bright, fully-equipped eat-in kitchen w/brand new hardwood floors, new counter, new sink/disposal, expandable table, and breakfast bar. Sliding door to large deck w/gas grill. Queen beds in master BR + in 2nd BR. Bunkbed in 3rd BR--full size on bottom, twin on top. Queen sleeper in large LR. GameCube w/games. DVD/VCR w/extensive video library. Wireless available. Work space, desk, chair, printer. Spacious parking. Spend your time relaxing--not in traffic! Significantly less crowded than Cape Cod and other MA beaches! Miles of beautiful beaches on small barrier island. Very large wildlife reservation. Internationally known for birding. Whether surf casting, deep-sea fishing, or charter fishing - it's amongst the best fishing for blues and stripers on the entire East coast. Excellent kayaking and biking. Small plane rides over the island. Lighthouse tours. 5 minutes to charming downtown Newburyport with its frequent festivals, quaint shops, casual and fine dining, art galleries, harbor, whale watches, kayak rentals and tours, charter boats, live theatre, independent cinema, playgrounds, and parks. 45 minutes to Boston (or an hour by commuter rail). 10 minutes to commuter rail. 10 minutes to New Hampshire line/ half hour to Portsmouth. Less than an hour from Maine.

  • Excellent price for three bedrooms in perfect location! More for your money! Roomy for one family. Also has worked well as a shared rental for an extended family or for two smaller families.
  • Ask about our $1000/week Greenhead Special (mid-July)! If you're familiar with the North Shore, you know that there is a potential for greenhead flies to be a bit of an inconvenience in mid-July. We're not aware of anyone else who offers discounted rates for these weeks. As long as you remember your bug spray, you'll enjoy a great bargain if you stay with us!

Island living without sacrificing conveniences: Less than 10 minutes from the commuter rail, Route 1, and 95. Also less than 10 minutes from a stellar farm store, an excellent butcher shop, as well as 2 full-service supermarkets. If you don't feel like cooking, there is a wide variety of restaurants - from casual to fine dining - both on the island and in Newburyport (5 minute drive).

Walk/Bike: Short walk to playground. Short bike ride to reservation. No need to drive far--you can get the basics-- convenience store, restaurants, bait and tackle shop, liquor store w/video rentals, etc. right on the island.
