Firefly Cottage is situated on Lake St. Catherine. It is a spacious, fully equipped 4 bedroom, 3 bath home which sleeps 8 to 10 people.it was extensively remodeled in spring 2008. The master bedroom is located downstairs Bedroom #2 has two pairs of bunk beds, bedrooms #3 & #4 both have high quality queen beds. Upstairs has a nice open kitchen, 2 dining areas, and a comfortable living room, all with stunning views of the lake! Downstairs there is a large rec room w/ a 42' plasma TV with surround sound, DVD & video games, a pool table, foosball table, gaming table & fireplace. The master bedroom, bathroom and laundry room are downstairs. Entire house has radiant heat throughout. Outside is a large deck, 1/2 acre of lawn, plenty of parking, picnic tables, boat, sauna, 2 TVs, stereo w/ CD changer, local phone. kitchen utensils, towels, linens and paddle boat.

Location: Killington Area < Vermont < USA

The lake is a 2 minute walk from the house. There you will enjoy 90 feet of lake frontage, BBQ's, benches, and your own private dock and boat. The swimming is fantastic with gravel lake bottom and gradual decline (perfect for the kids). During the day make the short drive to Killington/Pico for skiing (40 minutes), walk across the street (1/2 mile) to Lake St. Catherine Country Club for a day of golf, go hiking at Lake St. Catherine State Park (1 mile), go shopping and sight-seeing in Manchester (30 minutes) or Bennington (40 minutes), or simply relax, boat, fish, or play at the lake. Return home to a glowing sunset, an evening BBQ and/or a crackling fire (either indoors or outdoors).

Six of us wanted a convenient place to stay for our "Golf Vacation" and a place to unwind. The owners of "Firefly Cottage" provided everything we possibly could have needed. It was as though our wives went ahead of us and made sure we had all the comforts of home. We only needed to provide our food. We look forward to returning next year!!!!!

A beautiful cottage on a beautiful lake! We have been staying on Lake St. Catherine since the early 90s but at a different location. We came across this house when the former house we rented was sold and loved the setting it was in. The view of the lake is,as always to us, spectacular. The property is up a bit to give a fantastic view of the lake and the evening sunsets are awesome. The property is well kept and close enough to the golf course to walk. All the area restaurants we like are a short drive away or you can do your own cooking on a gas grill or spacious kitchen with all the utensils you need. Sleeping accomodations are very nice and with the dormer being added this fall, should be even more impressive! We highly recommend this beautiful home as we have to friends and co-workers alike! We'll be back again this summer,can't wait.
