4 BR, 2 BA, sleeps 10

This beautiful chalet sits in the middle of 2 acres of land, on top of a slight incline. Private stairs leading to the lake is in front of the yard. In less than a minute, you will be on your own private shore for some swimming or fishing. There is a full deck that wraps around the house with a picnic table for outdoors barbecues, also a gas grill and a fully equipped kitchen for everything needed to feel at home. Nearby many activities: Hiking, fishing, paintball, hunting, skiing, horseback riding, boating, rafting...or just sitting back and enjoying the view!:) Please don't hesitate to contact us by either email or telephone for more information on activities and more pictures of the chalet.

Yes, we have AC. We've put up the air-conditioning units this year. We used to put it up mid july, early august. But its been getting warmer every year, so we put them up earlier now.

Wallenpaupack is great for many outdoor activities. The possibilities are dependent on the season. In the winter, there are ski slopes that are minutes away, along with snow mobile trails and snow shoeing. The lakes completely freeze, so ice fishing is also a possibility. For fall and spring, hiking, fishing, and horseback riding, boating, white river rafting, paddling are available. It being a large lake, there are also a few marina's that have boat and kayak rentals.

Great house, great location

We were a group of 4 adults 2 kids and a baby. We stayed at the house for a week and had a very good time. The house was very clean and is very charming. Everything was as advertised.
The lake is very pleasant for swimming and water sports. There is a supermarket 5 minutes drive from the house. There are a lot of things to do in the area.
We will definitely consider the house for a next vacation.

Wonderful and relaxing week!

I would absolutely recommend this property and house. The owner was a pleasure to deal with- communicated quickly and efficiently. We vacationed over a holiday weekend and were able to meet and interact with the owners as they were at a house adjacent on the property. Very nice people. The highlight for us was the large property and yard- our 2 six year olds had a ball exploring, running and playing badminton. The house is very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was absolutely unnecessary during the week in early July that we visited. While this is a lake access property- plan to go to the public beach to swim and play.

Wonderful wrap around porch- we ate outside most every meal!

We had a lovely get-together at the chalet. It is very charming, clean, and cozy. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck, surrounded by the quiet, beautiful woods. The grill, appliances, DVD player and internet access work very well. The chalet is close to the grocery store, public beach, and restaurants. It was very fast, easy and pleasant to communicate and transact with the owner. We did not have any problems.

Great getaway
