A bird's eye view of the lake is yours from the private master suite deck. The main level has a covered porch which connects to the sun drenched, open deck also facing the lake. Or, swing on one of the hanging hammock chairs under the deck while watching the loons, ducks, jumping fish or kayaks go by against a brightly colored, surreal sunset backdrop. Perfect for Family Reunions and Pet Friendly: This property hasn't been on the rental market for over two years and has just been listed May 9, 2011 for the summer season.

We have enjoyed many return guests each year we have offered this for availability because it is hard to find one location to accommodate large groups. There are additional pullouts and areas to sleep to accommodate larger groups and yes, we are pet friendly as long as your pet is 'indoor friendly' and is not a dangerous breed or shows dangerous propensities. We have three dogs of our own and wouldn't think of going to camp without them!

Swinging chairs under the deck: Our swinging hammock chairs, located under the front deck, are the place to be whether you are watching the children swim and fish or just for listening to the waves while watching the loons or the gorgeous sunsets.

You will rock all your cares away and find yourself smiling for no apparent reason...but we'll know why...

Famed Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are approximately 45 minutes from this fresh water paradise and offers hiking, mountain climbing, whale watches, 4 masted schooner scenic sails, deep sea fishing, mountain climbing, hiking, fine dining as well as unique and quaint shops. Within 25 minutes of Bangor Airport and the Trenton Airport puts this home right in the center of activity. The Bar Harbor Golf course is 15-20 minutes away and further along is Bar Harbor's pride, KEBO golf course.

We also rent two gorgeous ocean front properties with great sand beaches that overlook Cadillac Mountain and other mountains of Acadia National Park. Properties are side by side with just under 300ft of gorgeous beach frontage. Turn on the 'Tiki' (electric) flame lights in the living room as the sun goes down and look out over the island/rock silhouettes against the twilight sky while listening to the loons and bull frogs and you will never want to leave. Walk out on the deck and listen to the waves lap the shore while the lightning bugs divert your busy thoughts and take you to a special place that you will revisit long after your trip has ended. Or, lay back in your bed and gaze out through the skylights at the twinkling stars and listen to a loon search for his mate...
