This well appointed, multi-level townhouse in the desirable Samoset Resort can be used year round to enjoy all the exciting activities that the Lakes Region has to offer. This end unit boasts lots of natural light and has cathedral ceilings. Large enough to sleep two families comfortably with 2000 sq. ft. of living space, this unit has all the comforts of a contemporary home, yet is a wonderful retreat in the woods of NH. Samoset is a true resort with a range of activities to satisfy the entire family. In the warm months, enjoy the rolling green lawns, sandy beach and two pools complete with chaise lounges and picnic tables, tennis courts and clubhouse with ping-pong table. In the winter, family friendly Gunstock Mountain is only 3 miles away for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing park. A sledding hill for young children is located nearby. Weirs Beach and the Tilton Shopping Outlets are also a short drive away.

Location: New Hampshire < USA

Property is located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee on Route 11, just East of Ellacoya State Park, and about seven miles Northwest of Alton Bay. Close by attractions less than 5 miles away include Weirs Beach, Gunstock Ski Resort, shopping, hiking, movie theaters, great restaurants, and more. Golf, bowling, and the Tilton shopping outlets are 20 minutes away, while you can get to the White Mountains, Kangamangus highway and North Conway in less than 1 hour. For boating, docks are available at the waterfront for drop off or pick up of passengers. Boats can be stored at a nearby marina or Ames Farm.

We stayed here with another family and it was great. Plenty of space inside, we enjoyed the outside porch as well for adult time after kids went to bed, playing cards and whatnot. We really liked that you had the option of the beach or the pool. They were both right there. Grounds were nicely maintained and had plenty of room for the kids to run around, ride bikes, play basketball and baseball. The other familys there were pleasant and friendly. Just down the road from Weirs, and the drive in. All in all, a nice place to stay...one con, the living room furniture was very uncomfortable.
Owner's Response: Glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that both families had plenty of fun and space to hang around. As for the living room furniture, it was replaced in 2008 with an oversized, comfy red sofa and loveseat. Amenities are being to added to the condo each year to keep the unit warm and welcoming.
