Truly the perfect island getaway, with breathtaking views of the Penscola Sound and/or the Gulf of Mexico from every window! Sitting on the sugary white sands of Pensacola Beach, with the sound lapping at your back door and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico just steps away, Hide-ees Way offers you more water access and views than anywhere else on the island.
The location of the complex on the island is ideal, providing the best of both worlds in terms of beach and water access. The unit sits on one of the clearest parts of the intracoastal, with its own sandy white beach and outstanding across-water views of Gulf Breeze, Pensacola, and the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Just walk down the back stairs, and you're set for a peaceful walk along the shore, a relaxing swim or soak, or a beach day with young children at play. And then, directly aross Ft. Pickens Rd--mere seconds away--is the majestic blue-green water and pure-white beach of the Gulf of Mexico.
Hide-ees Way is an end-unit located in San de Luna, which means more room, more windows, and more water views. The unit has been completely renovated, offers the latest in interior design including custom tile work, vessel sinks, and custom lighting fixtures. A large deck, open plan kitchen and vibrant interior colors make this a fun island getaway. Stainless steel appliances, flat screen TV in living room with DVD, CD, surround sound and speakers throughout the house, and wireless, high-speed internet.
Swimming pool and tennis court. There's plenty of room at ground level for barbecues, crab boils, storing kayaks, bicycles, fishing rods, and other fun stuff. The first level contains the entrance, powder room, kitchen, living, and dining room, and a large deck overlooking the sound with views of the Gulf. The second level has master bedroom with king bed and bath and views of the sound, and second bedroom with queen bed and bath and views of the gulf. Third level is a crows nest-loft with a queen bed and the most spectacular views of the gulf. Sleeps six.

Here we are as we begin our descent down Splash Mountain! This was a few years ago, and in typical form, Scott, my husband, is unphased, while I am clearly scared out of my mind. I think that says it all about our family dynamic! :)
I am a Pensacola native, now live in Atlanta, and we looked for years for a place of our own on the beach. This spot, for us, is unmatched, so we waited until the right unit became available. And finally, it did!
I can't emphasize enough how lovely and relaxing this spot is--walking down the backstairs to all the water-related benefits the island has to offer. Nothing compares.
