Hyannis - Hyannisport House Rental Photos and Description

3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, Sleeps 6. Fully equipped, great for families.

Discover the charm of Hyannisport, the place America’s First Family, the Kennedys has long called home. Explore the beaches, see light houses, watch a regatta, sail along the famous coast. Return to your Hyannisport home after a busy day of enjoying yourself and relax in this wonderful beach house.

Hyannisport Hideaway will welcome you and make you feel at home right away. Loved, cared for and set up as a place to welcome guests, Hyannisport Hideaway allows you to enjoy your time on Cape Cod worry free. We believe that our guests’ holiday starts as soon as they step into our home and equipped our beach house accordingly. From linens, towels to beach towels and beach chairs, from paper product to kitchen gadgets, we stocked Hyannisport Hideaway in preparation for your arrival. And there are no additional costs to consider – all amenities are included in the published rate, there are no cleaning fees and no additional taxes.

Hyannisport Hideaway can very comfortably accommodate 6 guests, with central air/conditioning, two bedrooms with a queen bed each (easy for 2 couples to share the house) and a 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds. Very large and modern kitchen will allow you to cook in comfort and with inspiration, for those days when you would rather stay in. For the grillmaster, the grill is right on the porch and is stocked with propane. Full and a half bath, plus an outdoor shower for the after beach rinse off will ensure that no one needs to compete for bathroom time, even families with teens ;)

For families with young kids, we can provide a pack’n’play and a high chair. There are beach toys to take with you to the beach.

The living room is extra spacious, with seating for 6, and a modern entertainment center with an LCD TV, streaming video, Playstation, books and board games. ! For those who need to keep in touch with the office or surf the web during downtime, high speed wireless access is available.

As you step from your sundrenched living room onto the porch, you will enjoy a large, green, secluded yard with a garden.

Situated just under a mile from the famous Craigville Beach, your stay at Hyannisport Hideaway will be enhanced by its proximity to this wonderful warm Nantucket Sound beach with 5 miles of sand. It is one of the largest and most popular on Cape Cod. The long beach and foamy surf make for beautiful walks in quieter seasons.

We provide you with a FREE beach pass that will allow you to access all of the Barnstable Beaches. That includes amazing Sandy Neck beach with a lighthouse, 9,000-acre preserve with dunes, bird life, marshes, and shellfish (but a bit of a drive at 10 miles). Covell Beach, Keys Beach, Veterans Beach, Kalmus Beach (great for wind surfing) are all less than 2 miles from our home.

We will provide you with a high quality 100% cotton European bed linen and fluffy towels. There's hair dryer, iron, paper products to make your packing easier. No need to drag your beach towels and chairs on vacation with you - we will supply those as well. Leave room for your purchases - Cape Cod Mall is just a few miles away!

'Thank you so much for the use of your lovely home. We had a great time. The house is wonderful. You have done a terrific job of stocking everything one can possibly need. It was so nice having a few staples to use... I just can't say how thankful we are to have been able to stay in such a nice, clean place. It made all the difference in our vacation. We enjoyed having the bikes, AC, the W/D...just everything.' - says a native Cape Codder who moved away but keeps on returning to visit our lovely area.

'Since this was the first time renting a home over the internet, I was a little nervous, however, I couldn't have picked a more comfortable, warm, fully equipped, inviting home.' - says a guest who became a regular visitor at Hyannisport Hideaway

About Julia Kasparova

We are a family who fell in love with Cape Cod years ago. Chuck grew up summering on the Cape with extended family and could never get the Cape bug from under his skin :) Julia was charmed by Cape Cod after moving to Boston area and after some soul searching, we decided to buy a home we can enjoy and share with others. Soon other family members followed suit and we have been thrilled to be able to welcome guests into our summer homes for the 10th year!We live just outside of Boston with our daughter, Lili and our lab mix, Hamilton. We spend a lot of time traveling, in New England, across US and abroad and we love staying in homes and apartments instead of hotels!

Julia Kasparova purchased this house in 2005

Why Julia Kasparova chose Hyannis - Hyannisport

Cape Cod has such a unique appeal and so many towns have gorgeous beaches, wonderful parks, trails, restaurants and more. We chose to settle in the mid-Cape area, especially around Hyannis, because we love all of the entertainment options Hyannis area has to offer, in addition to beautiful beaches.

What makes this house unique

We love our extra spaicous modern kitchen. Everyone always migrates to it during family dinners, and it easily accommodates family and guests, without getting into cook's way. In early mornings (we are night owls but alas, our daughter is not :)), we enjoy sitting on the porch with steaming cups of coffee or tea, listening to the birds and soaking up morning sun, while waiting for the rest of the house to wake up. Love having so many options so close at hand, and yet be able to return to this tranquil location and recharge.

Guestbook comments from the owner

The house was delightful and everything we hoped it would be! We had a wonderful relaxing time here and really enjoyed our stay (1st time on Cape Cod) because we had such a lovely base to operate from. Such peace and quiet made our holiday truly memorable. Thank you all so very much, we loved it.

Most enjoyable way to spend our anniversary

  • 5 of 5

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us for our Cape Cod holiday. We arranged our accomodation at Hyannis Hideaway more than two months in advance; therefore, had much anticipation and excitement leading up to our arrival. As we got closer in our twelve hour drive we began to get nervous about what to expect. We had sent off a cheque to someone we had never seen. What if this place doesn't exist? Not only did it exist, but it was most beautiful.

The interent pictures of the home were exactly the way the home is set up. Cleanliness and attention to detail is certainly at the forefront of the owners.

Mother-in-law who flew in for a few days was very impressed with all of the modern appliances and comforts of home. She was very happy with the choice of our Hyannis Hideaway.

The kitchen and dining area made for enjoyable Cape Cod cooking and conversations. Cooking in the big kitchen did not seem to be a chore like at home. We actually enjoyed our home cooked meals much more than the evenings we went out! The living room area is a comfy, cozy place to unwind after long days. After a few night caps on the deck, retiring the the airconditioned bedrooms was an added pleasure. The boys were very intigued by and raced home to the outdoor shower after our days at the Beach! The nautical theme throughout the home adds to the Cape Cod experience.

It was the most enjoyable way to spend our 18th Wedding Anniversary with our boys. We hope to return to Cape Cod again and will plan early to ensure a vacancy the Hyannis Hideaway. We really appreciated the bikes available in the garage for our rides to the convenience store for a morning paper and for Julia's extra efforts with suggestions and ideas, adding to our great holiday!

Ten Stars!

  • 5 of 5

If I could give ten stars for my stay in this home I would. I generally rent a home vs a hotel when I travel and I've had great experiences going this route. This home was by far the best choice ever. It was exceedingly clean ( that, for me, is the most important criteria), but aside from that this home is beyond charming with it's subtle nautical decor and shades of white and cream furnishings. Absolutely everything you need to be comfortable away from home you will find here; and everything, right down to the shower gel, is high end.

In terms of location, it is perfectly situated for day trips to the many nearby beaches, the ferries to the nearby islands, and to the charming towns all over the Cape. The owners are accessible and a pleasure to work with ; I am already looking at dates to return!

cape cod vacation rental

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 (2 older teens and 2 parents) just came back from a week-long vacation at Hyannis Port Hide Away. We were completely happy with the house. It's pretty evenly situated between the beach and Hyannis Main Street. It was clean, neat and well supplied. It was especially helpful to find beach towels, chairs and umbrellas there for us to use. We didn't use the bikes, but did make use of the boogie boards in the ocean. And it was a great neighborhood for taking a daily run.

Great house for our family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house! Julia was excellent at answering all of our questions leading up to our stay. We came with two kids (age 6 and 8) and our 10 month old son. The house was very baby and family friendly. There is a pack and play and high chair available which left us more room in the car, and Julia also offered to supply other baby items if needed. There was also a rocking chair in the living room which I moved to the baby's room to rock him to sleep. He was able to crawl all through the house without getting into trouble and the older kids loved their room. Beds were all very comfortable. The kids loved the chocolates left on the beds. We LOVED the outdoor shower. After each beach day, the kids went running straight to it from the car, the baby got rinsed off, and the grownups enjoyed washing up in the sunshine as well. The garage had all the items we needed for the beach, I only had to bring a beach blanket. The house was very clean and well stocked with coffee, tea, paper products, etc. The grocery store is only 5 minutes down the road. We didn't cook nearly as much as we thought we would (couldn't resist all the nearby seafood!) but the kitchen is very well equipped and all modern appliances. The binder of suggested activities was a huge help - the beaches nearby were nice, and Julia's suggestion of Mayflower Beach (30 minutes away) was our favorite! Great tide pools and sand bars for the kids to play. Hyannis is ten minutes away with lots of great seafood restaurants on the water, and Main street for little shops. We took a daytrip to Provincetown (1.5 hours away) and did a great little Pirate Adventure trip in Hyannis that the kids loved. In summary - great, cozy, well equipped house on a quiet street but close enough to all the action! It was a wonderful, relaxing, fun week and we look forward to coming back again in the future!

Owner's Response: Dear Jackie, it was an absolute pleasure hosting your family and talking with you throughout the reservation process and stay. We will consider ourselves privileged to welcome you again, should you return to the Cape! We do strive to make our guests lives' easier and as parents ourselves know all too well the stress of packing and carrying baby paraphernalia. (We have a young daughter and 2 young nephews, all three are 6 and under and they have been summering on the Cape all their young lives, and so we hauled everything under the sun, from baby gates to baby tubs). Now in addition to stock items like pack'n'play and high chair, I am more than happy to drop off other items for guests' use, or in case of a larger item like a wooden crib, help them rent it and have it set up before arrival. We also welcome suggestions from guests as to what family friendly items to stock and put guests' ideas in place at the beginning of the season. So happy that you enjoyed your stay, found central and quiet location suitable and our home very comfortable. There is no better reward for owners to hear that the guests were happy while in residence and the long awaited vacation was a great success.

Hyannisport Hideaway an absolute DREAM!!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I recently returned from our week long vacation at the Hyannisport Hideaway. This was one of the best vacation rentals we've ever experienced. The home included EVERYTHING we could possibly think of (pots/pans/hairdryer/iron/ample towels/grill/patio seating/bikes/beach chairs - you need it, they have it!). The beds are comfortable, the shower water pressure is great, the bathroom situation is completely accommodating and it had plenty of space for everything we needed. When staying at this house you get more than what you expect in terms of comfort. It is a comfortable location between the beach and downtown Hyannis; a perfect spot to bike ride to both attractions.

Aside from the house amenities, the responsiveness of the owner, Julia, was amazing. I emailed her a question on a Tuesday morning and she got back to me within 3 minutes - THREE MINUTES!! It was the fastest and most helpful experience I've had. Having the piece of mind that the owner stands behind her property is very comforting and pair that with the comfort of the home and you have a perfect vacation.

I would DEFINITELY return to the Hyannisport Hideaway. My only wish is that I was still there enjoying myself!!

Owner's Response: Dear Julie and Tim, thank you for having chosen Hyannisport Hideaway and allowing us to welcome you on your getaway. We hope we might have the pleasure again ;) We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed yourselves while staying with us, were comfortable and everything you needed was handy. It's our goal to ensure guests' comfort within our ability and it's very satisfying to hear that we were able to do that for your stay. In fairness to our future guests, 3 minutes turnaround is not always a guarantee :), but of course we strive to respond to guests questions and issues as close to instantly as may be possible, and resolve any problems ASAP. We take our accessibility to guests seriously and keeping the property in full repair and addressing any issues that might arise quickly to be among our key responsibilities as hosts. Thank you again for being such a pleasure to host and hope you enjoy the rest of the summer. Regards, Julia and Chuck.

Free Barnstable Beach Pass will allow you to explore many lovely beaches in the area.

While Hyannisport Hideaway is sheltered from the energy of Cape in the summer, it's a quick drive (less than 2 miles) to the vibrant Main St in Hyannis, home to the Kennedy Museum, numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, bookshops, boutiques, a carousel, and family amusement centers. Enjoy Thursday night parade or listen to live music in one of the pubs. Take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, catch a whale-watching cruise out of Barnstable Harbor, a deep sea fishing expedition from Hyannis, take a drive along Old King's Highway and do a little antiquing, catch a game of golf at any of the nearby golf courses or just enjoy the sea breeze in the backyard. Whatever is your idea of summer fun on the Cape, Hyannisport Hideaway can make your stay more memorable.
