Pelican Beach Resort in the heart of Destin has more amenities than any other high-rise in Destin. It is a first class resort. My rates are below the resort rates and any other real estate company. This unit is located on the fifth floor with spectacular views (unit #513). I have been self managing my unit since the building was built. Few other resorts can compare with the diversity and selection found at The Resorts of Pelican Beach. Go for a swim in one of the three adult pools (gulf front, lakefront, or indoor/outdoor) and let your tots play safely in the shallow kiddie pool. We also have two bedrooms on the first, seventh and seventeenth floors.

Destin Commons, a new upscale outdoor shopping mall including a 16 theatre movie complex, Hard Rock Cafe, Panera Bread, Bass Pro Fishing, Abercrombie, Hollister, Build a Bear, Sharper Image, Claires, Belks Dept. store just to name a few, is a few miles away. Silver Shells Factory Outlet Mall you don't want to miss, everything from Coach, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Waterford, Nike and much more at discounted prices. Destin was a fishing town before anything else so take advantage of the deep sea fishing party boats, or charter your own. Golf courses are abundant in the area, four 18 hole championship golf courses in the Sandestin Resort alone. Don't miss Baytowne Wharf, a New Orleans style village overlooking the bay in the Sandestin Resort. Upscale shops and restaurants in a beautiful setting. The Gulfarium has just been reopened, and you can swim with the dolphins. Or rent a pontoon boat and take the kids to crab island.

Exercise and fitness centers located in each building make it convenient to maintain your exercise program. In season, enjoy a snack at the poolside deli and provisions shop, or cool off with a frosty beverage at the beachfront tiki bar. Tennis courts, a video game room, Pelican's PlayZone (a seasonal children's recreation program), and two Jacuzzis are guaranteed to keep every member of the family entertained. Go deep sea fishing and bring your catch back and grill out at the barbecue gas grills located by the pools. The resort is located in the Heart of Destin across from the Big Kahuna Water/Theme Park, directly on the beach.

Favorite Restaurants: I have owned in Destin for 13 years and some of my favorite places to eat are: Casual for the whole family: Back Porch (Landmark, walking distance from Pelican) Harbor Docks (Favorite with locals, sit outside and enjoy the harbor) Pompano Joe's (On Old 98, right on the beach) Crab Trap (On Old 98, right on the beach) Bayou Bills (10 east of Destin on 98) Bud and Alleys (In Seaside-quite a drive but well worth the trip) Baytowne Wharf (Located in the Sandestin Resort on the bayside, romantic, New Orleans Style Village with shops and restaurants-don't miss it) Fudpucker's (Kids love it-live alligators) AJ's (By far the best night spot in Destin) The Hilton (Bar and Restaurant open to the public, new in 2005, overlooks the beach with live music daily! Located in the Sandestin Resort) Upscale: Louisiana Lagniappe (In Sandpiper Cove on Holiday Isle) Marina Cafe (Been my favorite for years) Destin Chops (Known for their steaks) The Ocean Club (At the entrance of Tops'l)
