Located in Ocean Isle's popular Summer Place, guests have access to the neighborhood pool. Island activities are just a short one-half mile walk. Updated in 2005, this child-friendly home has a well-stocked kitchen, indoor/outdoor dining and an open, sunny floor plan. This home caters to your every need making your vacation relaxing and enjoyable.

Life of Luxury!

My friend and I stayed here with our kids in Aug. After a 14hr drive we were quite happy to arrive here. Everything about the home was wonderful! Everyone had a place to sleep and there was plenty of room to move around as we visited with each other. The kitchen was well appointed so we were able to do our own cooking. There was plenty of seating available for meal times. It was great having a dishwasher and we also put the washer/dryer to use. We felt like we were living in style! The house is across the street from the beach with easy beach access. The beach was beautiful, very clean. The water was amazingly warm.The neighborhood and beach were fairly quiet during our stay which was nice. The children also enjoyed the pool which was just a short walk from the house. The only drawback we saw was that a key was needed to leave the pool area. With our large group we sometimes found ourselves without a key to get out. My sister and I also spent a lot of time on the lower deck relaxing. From there you could catch views of the ocean. The upper deck was great for catching some tanning rays. Ocean Isle is a quiet little community. We were a short walk to mini golf, ice cream shop, and para sailing rides. There are also places where you can rent bikes, scooters, golf carts, etc. Myrtle Beach is about a 1/2 hr drive away. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this home and community for families looking for a peaceful vacation spot. We hope to return in a couple of years.

Great Home for Families

Our entire family (mom, dad, teenagers, 11-year-old, 50-year-old uncle and 76-year old grandmother) enjoyed our stay at this house. Everyone had a room and bathroom to themselves and there was plenty of room to play, eat and gather together. The house was well-stocked - kitchen, grill and games and videos (DVD) for downtime. The rockers on the front porch got plenty of use in the mornings and evenings. Beach access was a short walk away. So was the pool. We would definitely recommend this house and look forward to our next visit!

Great location, neat & roomy

We had 7 people. 4 adults & 3 kids and there was more than enough room for everyone. We appreciated the short walk to the beach access (about 5 houses down and across the street) and short walk to the pool. The house was well-maintained, clean and even well decorated to make you feel at home. The kids also loved the mini-golf just down the street and we loved the home-made ice creamery just down the street as well. Our only concern was the busy street we needed to cross to get to the beach. With little kids, you have to be very careful because the cars drive very fast but once you cross the street, there is a sidewalk which is good. Overall, we all loved our vacation and this house was an excellent choice.

Our stay at Ocean Isle Breach was guaranteed to be perfect because of our choice for housing. The location, 1/2 block to beach access and 1/2 block to pool, assured maximum enjoyment of all a beach vacation can offer. The property was incredible well appointed, immaculately clean and with more ammenities that most homes. Adequate bathrooms alleviated all squabbling. The large kitchen afforded ample space and equipment to prepare meals for 16 people. we used the grill and approved of the arrangement for gas tank replacement. With three small children, the wagon and the children's furniture were greatly appreciated. While the games, books[I read six} and entertainment electronics were wonderful, we spent a lot of time on the porch, laughing and talking. We enjoyed our view of the ocean and the comforting quiet of the island. We certainly intend to return.

Great for a Golf Group

Had 8 ladies using this facility. Each person had their own bed so no one had to share. We were at Ocean Isle for a 3-day golf package at Ocean Ridge Plantation. The house was within a 15 minute drive to the golf courses.

The house was very clean and well-kept. It was conveniently located near the beach and the Summer Place swimming pool. We especially enjoyed the front porches which had a view (although somewhat restricted by the houses across the street) and a nice ocean breeze.

I would recommend this place to a friend and will consider renting again for my group.
