ACCESSIBLE ONLY BY BOAT, this charming, rustic cottage, on Moose Island, in Lake Placid, is an idyllic place for relaxing, swimming, water sports and fishing. It is quiet and secluded, 10 minutes by motor boat from the Paradox Bay Marina. We provide small boat (open aluminum 14ft boat with a 15 hp Honda motor) and free boat slip at the marina. Parking at the marina is free. You could also rent a bigger boat or bring your own.

Master bedroom has a full size bed. Second bedroom has 3 twin beds; Kitchen is fully equipped and linen is provided. Stone fireplace in living room; There are two large decks, upper deck has BBQ grill and outdoor furniture, lower deck is at water level. Large windows in living room have spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Aluminum canoe, kayak and sunfish sailboat are provided for the guests enjoyment.

The cottage is 10 minutes away by motor boat/car from the village of Lake Placid with its Winter Olympic Games installations, figure skating shows and hockey games, horse shows, 18-hole golf course and tennis courts, fine dining, outlet stores, antiques. Lake Placid is surrounded by the Adirondack mountains, a paradise for hikers and rock climbers.
