Our house is professionally cleaned from floor to ceiling by a team of very fussy women! Windows are washed /polished every summer until gleaming. Mattresses & pillows are steam cleaned. (Please read my reviews!) The beach is a 10 minute glorious walk along the ocean and seawall. We're centrally located in the Heart of Narragansett Pier. We're close to beaches, golf, fishing, tennis, movies, wonderful shopping, fabulous restaurants in every price range and cuisine with Adventureland nearby for the kids. There is a large, modern Stop & Shop just up the road plus the fabulous up-to-date Belmont Market for organic foods and wonderful fresh produce. Lobster can be bought off the fishing boats at nearby Galilee, next to the Block Island Ferry! Also close by is Historic Wickford, home of the Wickford Art Festival + Great shopping on Brown Street! Misquamicut, Watch Hill & the famous Flying Horses Carousel, Jamestown, Newport (home to famous mansions and the Cliff Walk) are a short drive.

  • We have new ionic hairdryers in the bathrooms. We have a washing machine and dryer with laundry supplies. We steam clean our mattresses, (which are pretty new anyway) every summer. We keep our house immaculate and sparkling. Because that's the way we like it!!

  • The master bedroom has a queen bed and it's own new private bathroom; the second queen bedroom is of a good size, romantic and beautiful; the two other bedrooms are a bit smaller, each having its own trundle bed, which can separate into two twins beds, or the bottom mattress can pop up and make itself into a KING size bed. All the bedrooms are bright and cheery. Nearby are baby-equipment rental companies. Should you need cribs, playpens, or any other baby equipment - just inquire, and we'll be happy to provide you with several names.

At the beginning of this century, Narragansett rivaled Newport as a favorite vacation spot of the wealthy. Fashionable periodicals commented regularly on the social goings-on at 'The Pier' (Narragansett). Today, as then, the beautiful beaches of Narragansett, the beautiful architecture, the fresh air and unspoiled, non-commercialized area lure folks from around the country and the world to experience the many pleasures and treasures of Narragansett. The sun shimmers on the waves at Narragansett Pier and there's a salty tang in the air! A walk along the seawall hugging Ocean Road allows unlimited views of sea and crashing surf. Brisk offshore winds furl sails, and fishing boats head into nearby ports with their catches.

Other Activities: Shopping! Mega Marshalls down the road, Wickford not far, 10 min walk to Narr Town Bch, 2 blks to seawall/ocean. Drive to Foxwoods Casino!

Beautiful, Family Vacation Home

My family absolutely loved this home. It was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need from lobster pots, games, sugar for coffee to beach chairs. The owners thought of everything. I had one question after arrival and the owner called me right back on a Saturday evening. The recommendations for dining and shops were right on target. It is in a great location and easy walk to the town beach. The master bedroom was huge as was the living room. The deck and yard were wonderful for cookouts. We are returning again this summer and can't wait. The guests we had visit last summer are interested as well.

My family & I travelled from Florida to stay in Narragansett this summer. The owners exceeded all our expectations to make sure that our stay was wonderful. The home was sparkling clean, location was wonderful and had EVERYTHING we needed! The owner, Beverly, made our expereience even better by sharing local tips, hotspots, dining spots, activities and events with us. The deck of the house was great for enjoying the cool ocean evenings. I can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to stay at this house. It was adorable and carefully decorated to enhance the seaside experience. Big thank you to Beverly for sharing her lovely home with us!

What a gem!

We truly enjoyed our week last year and have decided to come back this year. The house is spotlessly clean, well furnished with a touch of whimsy, and convenient for walking to the beach or to dinner at a range of restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. There is plenty of room for 6-8 people and there is a nice enclosed back yard for children. We've had a lot of experience renting summer properties. If you are looking for a pretty cottage by the sea, this is it.

There is plenty to do in the area and many suggestions are provided. We drove to Newport a couple of times and it is 30 minutes or less away.

We're looking forward to our week again this year.

Adorable house in great location

We spent a week last summer here and had a great time. The house is very clean and comfortable and convenient to alot of restaurants. With children, it is not a walk to the beach, which did not bother us a bit (some beaches however are hard to park at on weekends). There are plenty of beaches within a short drive so we easily found the ones we liked best. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable house that can accomodate a large family easily. We had 3 adults and 3 kids and it worked great! Enjoy!

Charming summer escape

My husband and I stayed at this lovely house for a week [end of June]. Bev [the owner] has an artist's eye and enlivens this house with whimsical beach art. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and two upstairs bathrooms make it easy for everyone to get ready for the day's activities. Everything, from the cozy eat- in kitchen to the charming living room/dining area is immaculate. There's a large, private deck area off the living room if you like to eat out. Of course, being able to walk to the beach is a major plus This house is also close to great local dining, shops, a movie house and a library.
