House is 12 miles south of New Paltz, 65 mi from GW Bridge. Bright and airy 3 bedroom home is in southern Ulster county. Very quiet setting on 12 acres with lawns, gardens, woods, a sculpture park, pond and stream. Surrounded by woods, it is last property on a quiet country road. Available thru late Oct. Month, week, weekend It has a spacious living room with great cross ventilation and a wood-burning stove. It has a front porch, rear deck (table, umbrella and chairs), as well as large back lawn (perfect for setting up a sprinkler or wading pool for the kids). Fully furnished, plenty of closet space, and a well equipped kitchen.You provide your own linens. High-speed internet connection. Central air conditioning and heat is provided with a heat pump system. As a courtesy to all guests, no-smoking, no pets. Located off Route 32; Plattekill, 8 miles from exit 17NYS Thruway

You can also take in the beautiful river views at the newest state park-- 'Walkway across the Hudson'-- now a pedestrian trail that spans the Hudson River from Highland to Poughkeepsie. If you are a history buff, you can tour the 300 year old stone houses on Hugeonot St. in New Paltz.
