Photos and Description of the Romulus vacation cottage rental 3 BR, 1 BA, Sleeps 8.

Beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom summer home on the waters edge of the Queen of the Finger Lakes, Cayuga Lake. All aspects of our home were renovated in 2009. New bedrooms, new kitchen, new bathroom, pine tonge and groove cielings throughout, new florring, new fireplace, new 10' x 23' deck overlooking the lake. The beach is very family friendly. A gentle slope at the shore provides great swimming. Fishing off the dock is a must. Beach toys, 2 kayaks, tubes, life jackets and a paddleboat are all provided. All appliances in the kitchen are new. Sleeps 8. Bedroom one has a Queen size bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4) and bedroom 3 three has one Queen bed. Enjoy the view of the lake from our huge deck overlooking the beach area. Our cottage is situated right on the shore; you can swim or fish right off the 50 foot dock. We are located on a quiet, dead-end street which makes it great for families.

We are located on the edge of the western shore of Cayuga lake, 20 miles south of historic Seneca Falls, and 25 miles north of 'gorgeous' Ithaca, NY, where there are spectacular hiking trails among the gorges. Ithaca is also home to Taughannock State Park and Taughannock Falls. The drop of the falls is an incredible 215 feet (66 meters) , and is one of the highest east of the Rocky Mountains. Just one mile to the north is Dean's Cove NYS boat launch. New York wineries are a noted distinction of the Finger Lakes Region. Far removed from the bustling streets of the city, wine lovers will find many of New York State's most treasured winery destinations only a few minutes drive from our location. Your local shopping experience may include a visit to the many Amish shops in the area or a trip to the local Senaca Outlet mall or Bass Pro Outlet in nearby Auburn NY

Cayuga Lake: We are located on the western shore of Cayuga Lake, the Queen of the Finger Lakes. Cayuga Lake is a quiet, 40-mile long lake with little boat traffic, but plenty of ducks, loons, and fish. Cayuga Lake is surrounded by rolling hills, the Cayuga Wine Trail. Seneca Falls, NY is located on the north end of the lake and Ithaca NY is on the south end of the lake.

This will be our fifth summer at the lake,we have been vacationing at the cottage since the Lewis family opened it up for others to enjoy. The cottage is lovely and well kept We are still in awe of the lake and can't decide if the sunrise or sunset is most beautiful! My kids love collecting fossil rocks on the beach and nighttime fishing on the dock. Lots of local beauty to see and Seneca falls is a must see. Cottage has all you need (bring linens and towels)Try it once you'll love it forever!

Wonderful cottage

My fiance and I rented this cottage in september of 2008 and it was truly a wonderful experience. The owners were very friendly and very nice. The area is beautiful and the house is well maintained. We woke up every morning to the sun coming up over the lake and had outstanding views. There is a boat launch not even 2 miles away that is extremely easy to launch at and pick your boat up at. I am planning on renting again this up coming year. I would without a doubt give this rental 2 thumbs up and i am not an easy person to please.
