Enjoy your vacation with your family in a relaxing, natural setting minutes away from the convenience of village life. We have a babbling brook to play in, a river to fish in, fields to romp in, a forest to explore, wildlife to observe and plants to discover. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom, with shower and jacuzzi. An attached parent's retreat has a futon to be used as a private sitting room or as a bedroom. The other two bedrooms each have a double bed. All linens, towels, and washcloths are provided. Our fully equipped kitchen makes meal preparation easy and convenient. Eat in the dining room, on the deck, or on a blanket in the field. Air hockey table, organ,various board games, books and videos will entertain your family inside. Outside, the river, brook, fields and forest will provide hours of exploring fun. Conveniently located between Stowe and Morrisville (5 miles to each village). 14 miles to Johnson State College. 1 hour to Burlington.

Nature information : Our forests and fields are home to many species of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see deer, turkeys, rabbits and other small mammals roaming about. This is the perfect environment to teach your children about different plant species and animal habitats. We have numerous species of native trees, flowers and plants on the property. In the evening enjoy roasting marshmallows or hotdogs over the campfire in our campfire ring.

The house is kept in good condition and can fit a decent amount of people comfortably. Can't beat this rental for the price per night.

Awesome place to stay at very affordable price

Our family stayed at this property last Spring together with another family. The place is very spacious and easily accommodated 10 people (including children). The cottage is neat, well kept and the well furnished (lots and lots of linen, towels, kitchen utensils and implements etc.). As bonus the kitchen has dishwasher and the mud room has laundry machines. The cottage is in a beautiful wooded area not far from Stowe (15min to 20min drive), the playground of Vermont. The cottage also has a laptop computer, DVD and video cassette players, some books for adults and children, board games, and an air hockey table, helping to make the stay very relaxing. Would recommend to families with children and we definitely plan to return in Fall.
