For your sleeping comfort bedrooms have all new Sealy pillow top mattresses. There is one Queen size bed downstairs and one Queen size bed upstairs. The large loft area is set up as a 2nd living room with a 2nd TV, queen size sleep sofa and chest so that it can also be used as a 4th bedroom if needed. Wellfleet is one of the most sought after places on the Cape for vacationing because of its many beautiful ocean and bay beaches and fresh water ponds, and fishing/boating harbor all within minutes away. It is one of the few towns on the Cape having a quaint little town and harbor with pier where you can stroll along and watch the fishing boats come in & out while enjoying an ice cream from a vendor on the pier. Also, at the pier you can enjoy tasty fried clams then hop on a fishing boat for a day excursion catching stripped bass or blue fish or just bring home some fresh seafood from the pier which has just arrived! Evening on the town is quite wonderful too with all the art galleries and shops to wonder through, some of them offer free wine tasting on weekends. Be sure to stop at the Book Store Restaurant for the best seafood in Wellfleet.

Excellent rental, just booked another Fall week. A comfortable, clean home in a very quiet setting made for a relaxful week. It's an easy stroll to Indian Neck Beach. Enjoyed our stay tremondously.

This house was fantastic. It was clean and kitchen well equipped lobster pot and all, and it was nice to have the view of the water too. The owner was very easy to deal with and gave us a list of useful information about the house and town. We rode our bikes to the Indian Neck Beach which was only a short distance. You can get a license from the town to dig for clams and we got dozens that we cooked on the grill.. . It was a great experience hassle free and I definitely would rent the house again.

nice property, but read the contract carefully

Short story--my web request was for Sunday to Sunday, 7/6-7/13. I subsequently confirmed availablity for this range in a followup email with the owner, and a telephone conversation. There was never any problem mentioned with this in any email or phone response I had from the owner. I received the contract and signed it thinking we were all set.
Imagine our surprise when the next set of tenants showed up Saturday, 7/12. Scramble to clean up, move out; check contract --oops. It turns out owner wrote the contract for 6 days, not 7 (but charged us for 7) and I hadn't read it carefully enough because all the email and phone communication seemed to settle that.

Partly my mistake for not reading carefully. I don't have a legal leg to stand on in this. Just make sure you do read the contract carefully with this one.

Great communication with the owner, the home was roomy and spacious for a family of 5. The deck, screened in porch & gas grill was a great amenity, which was used quite a bit because the weather was beautiful. It was nice to walk to the bay beach each day...1/2 mile. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We would stay there again. Location was great. Close to markets, restaurants, and beaches.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
