Park your car and walk or bike to everything on the island! Our home borders the King & Prince Hotel property, so the location cannot be beat. The beach is a short two minute/one block walk from the front door. Or turn the other direction and in less than a minute you have three of the best restaurants on the island at your disposal -the Crab Trap, Crab Daddies, and the Beachcomber. Not to mention Ocean Motion for all of your kayaking, beach and biking needs. The King & Prince also offers oceanfront dining and a nice lounge for cocktails and appetizers. Our home is a townhome situated on four levels. The first level contains a 1 car garage. Behind the garage is a bedroom with a queen bed and a bath and a TV, which has access to a patio that is gated - a perfect spot to store beach equipment and bikes and rinse off the sand from the beach. This is a great room for grandparents or a babysitter since it is more private.
The second level is completely open and perfect for socializing. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen, half bath, living area with TV, DVD, and stereo, and a sizeable deck with a settee and a table and chairs and stairs that lead down to the patio. The third floor has two large bedrooms (queen in each) and a 'Jack and Jill' bathroom.
The back bedroom on this floor has a TV and a covered deck outdoor seating, perfect for reading and relaxing in the shade or enjoying a beverage, away from the main living area. The fourth level contains a sun deck, a 'crows nest', and a loft with a double bed, which is great for teenagers seeking to get away from the family for a little while (note that this area is not conducive for smaller children as it is very separate from the rest of the home and has access to the roof deck). Enjoy a drink on the top deck as you watch the ships on the ocean or look over the marsh.

Note: This property is NOT part of the King & Prince, so there is not access to their pool. However, there is a beautiful public pool by the lighthouse with a huge kids area.
My husband and I are native Atlantans and currently reside in Dunwoody. I have been coming to the St. Simons area my entire life. My husband fell in love with the area during a visit to St. Simons over New Years Weekend 2000. On an impulse, we purchased our first property on St. Simons during that fateful trip and it was the best decision that we have made. We love visiting the area with our 2 girls and can't wait for the day that we can spend even more time on the coast.

We loved the location of this property. We can walk out the door and be at the beach in 2 minutes. We also loved being able to walk to several great restaurants and over to the King and Prince for a coffee in the morning or a lunch by the pool. From the top deck we watch the ships come and go and the fireworks on New Years and the Fourth of July and never have to leave home.
Due to the floorplan of the unit, you are afforded much more privacy than in a typical condo or hotel. With the living areas spread out on 4 levels, it is easy to find a little quiet time. And the large living room/kitchen area is a great place to be when everyone wants to be together. Our guests love the covered decks and the private patio area, especially for the pets.
Thank you very much for letting us rent your St. Simons condo for the third year in a row. We love the location! Alan and his dad love hanging out at the top perch of the condo. We look forward to coming back next year.
Great location! Spacious with many out door spaces. The home has all the amenities you might want and more. The beds were comfortable; a plus for those who find changing beds difficult.
Our only reason for not giving this accommodation five stars is that the space is tired looking and noticeably smelt like dogs.
This wonderful townhome is located right next to The King and Prince Resort, an icon of St Simons Island. Not only are you in the best possible location on the entire island, but you are in an extremely safe area. You have access to the best part of the beach and to amazing restaurants as well. We walked on the beach every day and biked all over the island. The house itself is absolutely fabulous. Beautifully decorated and well appointed. Patios or decks on FIVE levels. We loved it so much that we have already booked three more weeks in the next year!
The owner is very gracious and easy to corresond with. Questions are answered very rapidly. We were very very pleased.
This townhouse is a bargain for the money. Very quick walk through King/Prince to get to the beach. Comfortable beds (not always so) in every bedroom. If you are looking for plush and elegant, then this isn't your place. If you want to feel as though you are at home at the beach, then this is the one. Everyone who came over during the week, 100+ people, said they would come back and rent this place in a heartbeat. THAT says a lot.
This place quickly became our favorite place to stay at this stage of our life. The three levels was helpful for privacy for grown kids but the wonderful open floor with den and kitchen was a great gathering place! This condo is well stocked and clean. The owner is also very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be renting this townhouse again! You can walk to the beach, to bike rentals and delicious restaurants too!
The townhome was wonderful. It exceeded all of my expectations. The view from the loft was outstanding. The weather was great and I would definitely be interested in staying here again. The property was clean and well maintained and I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.
We enjoyed our visit to St. Simons and this property. The townhouse is in a great location, with easy beach access. Among the multiple decks is a nice, high crow's nest with views of the ocean. There are several restaurants within two blocks, as well as a few shops, including a place to rent bicycles. Only one mile to the pier and 4th of July fireworks.
