At the end of a long winding drive this stunning post modern home is located in the Northwest Woods and is a short walk/bike ride to the surrounding bay beaches and Cedar Point Park. The house is situated on one and a half private and wooded acres backed by a 20 acre preserve. The interior is beautifully decorated but at the same time is very relaxed and comfortable. The living room has a double height ceiling with towering windows that make the entire house light and bright.

The large eat in kitchen seats six and comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. It flows effortlessly into the open living area and through french doors to the formal dining room. There are two large master bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. The upstairs master has a king size bed with wrought iron head board, large walk in closet and double sink bathroom with jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. The downstairs master has a queen bed with full bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs with queen and full beds that share a full bathroom.

Outside a large cedar deck overlooks the 20 by 40 heated pool (with or without child safety fence), which is accessed through sliding doors off either the living room or den. The professionally landscaped gardens and lawn are colorful, lush and the backyard is completely fenced. The surrounding woods are filled with oak, white pine, cedar and wild dogwood. It is not uncommon to catch a glimpse of exciting wildlife such as red fox, wild turkey, deer, owls, hawks and pheasant.

The location of the house is ideal for taking advantage of all the recreational activities the Hamptons have to offer. The lovely bay beaches are within walking/biking distance as are the numerous hiking and jogging trails. East Hampton, Sag Harbor and the beautiful ocean beaches are only a 10-15 minute car ride away. Each town has it's own unique charm and apppeal, offering an exciting array of shops, restaurants, museums and historical sites.

We rented this home for our 40th anniversary week. It's a lovely place, squeaky-clean, nicely appointed, and a delight to be in. It has an open floor plan, is spacious, and comfortable. Quite secluded, which we enjoyed. The yard is beautifully maintained, as is the pool, and the pool heater works very well. Lots of toys - including a trike - for the kids/grandkids. The owners are very quick to answer any and all inquiries. All in all, it nicely fulfilled all our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
