Photos and Description of the Madison vacation chalet rental

Charming Swiss Chalet in the Resort Complex of Eidelweiss Village Madison, NH/White Mountains. The chalet has a view of Middle Pea Porridge Pond from the front deck. The complex has 3 spring fed pristine ponds with 5 sandy beaches. Pat's Haus is just a 5 minute walk to 2 of those beaches. The complex also has a fenced playground, tennis courts and a basketball court. On the ponds you can use non- motorize water crafts and fish.

The main level of the chalet has beamed cathedral ceiling and ceiling fan. There is a very large living room with woodstove/fireplace, dining room, kitchen, full bath and a bedroom with a full-size bed. The lower level has 3 bedrooms, one has a full, another has 2 twins and the third is called the dorm room, great for children 2 sets of bunks and a full-size bed. Also in the lower level is a family room with color TV and VCR and a futon couch/double bed and a full bath. 2 pack-n-plays, high chair, youth chair

Summer: Enjoy swimming, paddling, fishing and sailing in three pristine ponds, visit the 5 public beaches in Eidelweiss. Wonderful quiet location for kayaking, canoeing or sailing as no motorboats are allowed. Sneak right up on the resident loons! The ponds are stocked with trout! The little ones can enjoy the playground. You are in the heart of the White Mountains with miles of wonderful hiking trails, the town of Madison boasts the largest boulder in North America, this hike is 5 minutes from the property! Silver Lake with motorboat rentals is right down the road. Story Land, Santa's village, Heritage House of NH, The Mt. Washington Auto Road/Cog Railway, the Alpine Slide/ Water Slide at Attitash and of course outlet shopping in No. Conway are some of the many area attractions close bye.

Winter: Close to many major downhill areas - 10 min. to King Pine and Cranmore, twenty minutes to Attitash, 30 to Wildcat.

We had a fabulous time at Pat's wonderful chalet! You can tell that the owners really care for their home! It was the perfect size for our family. We adopted our twin boys that week and had lots of family in town to celebrate with us and the memories of our vacation and adoption will always be here at this Chalet! The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved the big table with games and plenty of room for all the family.

My family rented this challet. We had a great time. The kids loved the pond and play ground. Short drive to Story Land. Would go back again !!

My sisters and I with our kids had a great time!
The location is fabulous, lots of things to do in the area.
We have stayed in the area quite a few times, but this was one of my favorites. Everything you need and/or want is right there...
