Locally Wyeth landscapes abound with the Olson House and the Farnsworth Museum just a few miles from the cottage. Other nearby attractions are a ferry to Monhegan Island, perhaps the most beautiful of Maine's islands. Great shops, restaurants, lighthouses and parks are a short distance away. Boating, swimming and sunbathing are available in pristine lakes or along several miles of sand beaches on the ocean.
