Waterstone Lodge on Lake Travis is the first of it's kind in the Lake Travis area. Not only is it recent construction and outstanding quality but it offers five bedrooms, Pool, Spa/Hot Tub, Boat Dock, Fire Pit, Outdoor Kitchen, Outdoor Living Room all overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. It sits on two acres with direct water access and boat dock and golf cart path to the lake. If you need more space there is a two bedroom two bath villa down the street that can be rented separately. There are also four computers with wireless high speed Internet, a 50 inch Plasma TV in master and a media room with 60 inch TV. Located in a private & gated golf course community. Next door is Barton Creek Lakeside where there is golf, tennis and workout facilities available to guests by appointment. You will not find another rental like Waterstone Lodge in the entire Lake area. Also, the owners have a two bedroom villa available on the same street for overflow or extra guests.

If you like water, golf, tennis, walking or doing nothing, you will find it here. There is a championship golf course, Barton Creek Lakeside, within 1 mile from Waterstone Lodge and our guests can pay the greens fees and play if they make a reservation with the property manager of Waterstone Lodge. The lake is in your backyard and fun can be had by all on the large dock (sorry, swings on dock are not available). The huge deck off of the back of the house has a gorgeous outdoor living room with fireplace overlooking the pool and spa with waterfalls. The home comes with use of a Golf Cart.

Ask the property manager about it. There are two golf carts so you can park one at each house.

Waterstone is one of those perfect places for a family. The front yard is a golf course, the backyard is Lake Travis, and in between is perfection.

My favorite place is the boat dock, where I spend half of the day with my children fishing or just hanging out. We bring a canoe and a boat and its just heaven. Who said Lake Travis wasn’t a fisherman’s lake? The location at mile marker 39 is great as well, as there is relatively light boat traffic.

My children love to swim in the pool and hot tub all day, and we sit on the very comfortable furniture on the deck as we watch them. We also cook and eat all of our meals outside on the deck, which has a great outside kitchen.

The house itself is very nice with its stonework and tin roof. It has huge vaulted ceilings and a chef’s kitchen. We cook a big dinner every night. The house is absolutely loaded with computers, ping pong, video games and high end TVs…it really has everything you need. The kitchen has all of the pots and pans you will need, and there is a great selection of spices and condiments so you don’t have to buy every little thing in order to cook, which is nice, and it’s hard to remember everything at the store. There are 2 refrigerators, 2 ice machines, a huge Viking stove, a wine cooler…you get the drift.

Our excursions are typically to the Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, or the Oasis or the Iguana in Lakeway, all of which we love.

This house is maintained perfectly, and if there is ever an issue (I know things break on my house every week), they have it taken care of immediately. I can’t recommend it highly enough. We are going back for 4 days in the fall of 09 and Memorial Day 2010. We can't wait

Surprise 60th Birthday Family Weekend

We had a great time at this property. The home looks just like the pictures. The layout is great! They also havent forgotten a single thing in this home. It has a wonderful Miele cappacino maker, outdoor margarita machine, nice dinnerware for a formal dinner, plenty of towels/pillows, etc. We were also surprised to see that when we arrived in early November, the home was already decorated with a wreath and Christmas tree. This was such a nice touch, it really added to our cozy, family focused weekend! I would stay at this property again and would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect Girls Getaway!

We had a "girls getaway" weekend with 12 women and it was perfect. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the linens were top notch ... in fact, we all woke up surprised by how late we had slept each morning! The list goes on and on, but to sum it up: when 12 women go looking for their own creature comforts and everyone is happy -- you've nailed it! The owners have clearly been on five star vacations, payed attention to the details, and filled their home with all the things we love about vacation.
