Casa dos Carvalhos is a spacious 2 bedroom villa, which sleeps 4/6. It has a large swimming pool and terrace with spectacular mountain views and tranquil Mediterranean gardens.

Casa Bolota is a delightful cottage designed for 2/3 people or a small/young family. The cottage consists of a lounge/bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with separate shower room. Outside, there is a private terrace which entertains incredible mountain views and offers an outside dining table, sun loungers and an umbrella for shade. The property shares the pool and terrace with Casa dos Carvalhos the villa that shares the site.

These properties provides an ideal opportunity for that get away from it all holiday, where all you want to do is relax, unwind and make the most of what the Algarve can offer. Casa Bolota is a delightful studio-cottage designed for 2/3 people. The studio-villa consists of a lounge/bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with separate shower room. Outside, there is a private terrace which entertains incredible mountain views and offers an outside dining table, sun loungers and an umbrella for shade. The large swimming pool and terrace is shared with Casa Dos Cavalhos, the villa that shares this property. The studio-cottage is equipped to a very high standard. The lounge/bedroom comprises of 2 lounge chairs, coffee table, TV, built in wardrobe and twin beds. The fully fitted kitchen has gas cooker, fridge-freezer, all crockery, glassware and utensils. All linen, with the exception of swimming towels is provided.

About Joan

My husband and I fell in love with rural Portugal after vsiting ourselves, it reminded us of parts of Africa where we had spent the early years of our marriage. We found the plot of land and decided to build the villa. It has been a place of many wonderful family holidays. I have decided that I need to share the wonders of the rural Algarve with others. These 2 delightful holiday villas are situated on a remote hillside with magnificent views of the Serra de Montefigo mountains, providing a peaceful and relaxing holiday for up to six.

Located 2 miles from Sao Bras de Alportel and only 12 miles from Faro airport, the villas are a world away from the popular coastal resorts, yet close enough for you to enjoy day trips to the beach, coastal attractions, fishing villages and the golf courses.

Loule, only 8 miles away, is a larger market town with excellent oppportunites for shopping, dining and entertainment. Spain is an easily accessible 50 miles away.

A week of sheer bliss in truly splendid isolation - a magical place.

A haven of peace and tranquility; a place to reflect, relax and unwind to face the madding crowd again. Many thanks - till the next time!

We needed to unwind and could not have found a better place. The Portugese have been charming, the seafood superb and the location perfect.

Over time, I have realized that the best things in life take time, work and luck. Finding the villa is a perfect example. Now, neither of us want to leave. We'll be back; goodbye for now.
