Relax and refresh your spirit at our 4 season, intimate one-of-kind oasis. Stay in your own beautiful lakefront cottage and be filled with it's bright pleasures. The cottage is located right on the water with awesome, panoramic views of an absolutely pristine, spring fed lake, one of the cleanest in the country. A nice, grassy front yard and small beach areas. This unit is very tastefully decorated and although rustic in nature, is very modern and totally renovated. The unit offer fully equipped kitchen, full bath with shower and comfortable living room. The cottage has it's own deck from which to watch the sun rise and set. With water temperatures averaging in the low 70's, swimming's a refreshing delight.

Our cool nights are wonderful for restful sleep, broken only by the soothing early morning call of a beautiful loon. Enjoy a book, explore the lake by canoe, walk a nature trail or just relax at water's edge. You can barbecue with the family, explore the many hills and hidden ponds and feel the exhilaration of a great day of fishing as the lake is stocked from the largest fish hatchery in the state of Maine with bass, land-locked salmon and lake trout.

The surrounding mountainous area offers fine dining, golf, summer theatre, country fairs, antique shops and site seeing. White water rafting is nearby as well as invigorating hiking trails. The fall season offers spectacular foliage and deer hunting. The area is also a renowned winter playground with skiing at famous Sugarloaf USA, snowmobiling and ice fishing available. We provide our guests with a canoe, kayak and paddleboat for their use during their stay. There is also a swim dock and possible boat dock space available. Other activities nearby include a public beach, biking, cinemas, amusement park, miniature golf, mountain biking and tennis.

Awesome Getaway!

My 3 boys and I had the pleasure of staying here for a weekend. Bob is a wonderful host and one of the nicest people I have ever met! The lake is amazing! My boys stayed in the water much of the time whether it be swimming or canoeing or kayaking etc. We were sad to leave. The cottage was lovely, clean and had everything we could need. It was so relaxing there. This would be an ideal place for a multi-family vacation. Skowhegan is about 20 minutes away which has restaurants, a large grocery store and great ice cream and mini golf at Giffords! We definitely plan on visiting again next summer! Bring your beach towels, swimsuits and marshmallows for toasting over a camp fire and get ready for quality time together!

My family and I have been to this cabin and others by the same owner for nearly ten years. A great place to escape and getaway from it all. The lake is quiet and beautiful. Fishing is typically good whether it's from a boat, the shore or the docks. Just an overall great place to take some downtime and relax. The cabins have what you need to get by and if you forgot anything the town is a quick 15-20 minute drive and Skowhegan is about 30 minutes if you need something more.

Perfect Little Getaway.

Went up from CT for a week of ice fishing. Exceeded my expectations. The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. Tucked away about 20 minutes from the nearest town, very peaceful. Come nightfall, you can hear a pin drop. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning next year and would recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking for an affordable vacation that is worth every cent!
