Welcome to our year-round raised ranch, situated on 1/4+ acres, nestled among trees for privacy. A few steps up from the front door bring you to a comfortably furnished living room with VCR and in-season cable TV. The eat-in kitchen, separated from the living room by a half wall, is furnished with new appliances - large refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher and ceramic-top stove in addition to microwave, toaster, coffee pot, lobster pot, cooking & eating utensils, etc. A large south-facing deck is off the kitchen for morning coffee (table with umbrella for shade) or lounging; enjoying the many birds playing in the trees that provide full privacy. A patio is a few steps below the deck and has a picnic table and Weber grill. The private outdoor shower (hot & cold water) is immediately off the patio.

Enjoy the best of all worlds. Our home is private and very quiet, away from all the bustle in town. Yet numerous activities are but a short distance away. Nautical interests? Oak Bluffs harbor, in town, offers charter fishing, cruising, jet skis, boat launching ramp; para-sailing is also available. Eastville, Oak Bluffs and State beaches are each within a mile from our home; all three beaches are public, clean, and face the calm waters of Nantucket Sound. Atlantic Ocean beaches with surf are a little further away. Want to get away from the water? Take a free tour of the winery; head to town for dinner and a movie; stop off for a cocktail after. Theater, movies, dance, night club, art galleries, shopping, nature trails, horse back riding, golfing, tennis courts, kite flying, numerous restaurants are all within short drives or bus rides.

Three bedrooms are down the hall from the living room: one with a regular-size bookcase bed, and one with a set of twin-size beds, share one full bath; the 3rd, the master BR (queen) has a private full bath. Electric heat and window fans are in all the rooms for your comfort. Washer & dryer are on the lower level; this large, unfinished level has easy access to the backyard which also has an umbrella type drying line for those wishing for the fresh smell of sun-dried clothes.

July & September fishing tournaments, August fireworks, Illumination Night, Agricultural Fair, parades, town 'block parties', road races (watch, bike or run) are all part of the fun on Martha's Vineyard.
