Our duplex is only 6/10 of a mile from Nantucket Sound and a short walk to summer concerts, a live theater, antiquing, dining and shopping in a quaint village.. Duplex has a living room (sleep sofa) and kitchen combination, as well as an air conditioned bedroom and bathroom. The units are completely furnished with cable TV, utensils, dishes, pillows, blankets, etc., and all you must bring are pillow cases, sheets, and towels. This is a family oriented environment, ideal for a couple with two small children.

We rented this cabin because we were on a tight budget, but I wish we had upgraded. It was dirty, smelly, and the 'owners' disappeared a lot. When the stove went out, it took them 2 days to return our calls. The floor was sticky (and carpeted, so yeah). There were spider webs, complete with spiders in the bathroom. Oh, and did I mention the ants? I dont mean a couple of ants, I mean you Could Not leave any item of food out or you would get a swarm. Now, I have lived in buggy climates, but when you cant leave food in cupboard you have issues. We pulled up a frying pan to use (we hadnt used it before) and it was Covered in ants. yeah, gross.

The kindly old man that answers the phone (sometimes) seems nice but we never met him. His daughter collected our rent and that was the last we saw of them. When we complained about ants, we got told not to leave food out. When we complained about no oven, we didnt even get a return call. We asked for a partial return of our rent for wasted groceries and having to eat out, but didnt even get an answer to our request.

Stay away!
