Sportsman's Paradise! Wonderful Log cabin located on 25 acres, in Walhalla, MI, 25 miles east of Ludington, in the heart of the Manistee National Forest, offers thousands of acres of public land for hunting, dirt biking, ATV, hiking, and snowmobiling. The Pere Marquette River, one of Michigan's top producers of rainbow, brown, brook, and steelhead trout, Chinook and Coho salmon is only a mile away. The beautiful Ludington beaches, on the shores of Lake Michigan, are a mere 20 minutes away. Along with Little River Casino just 30 minutes away. Relax on the peaceful wraparound deck including a covered porch, overlooking Casin Lake. Casin Lake is a shallow non-swimming lake, perfect for rowboating and fishing. On those cold nights, snuggle in around the wood stove and enjoy the log interior of this log cabin. We do all reservations and questions through Email. Respond through this site.

Wonderful Retreat in the Woods

This was our first time to the Taylors cabin, and it was all and more than we had hoped it would be. The cabin was beautiful, as it was our first time ever staying in a real log cabin. Very clean, and comfortable.
A wonderful spot to get away from it all for a few days. We will for sure be back!

The log cabin was wonderful, better than the pictures! Everything was well-kept and in good working order and CLEAN!!! The cabin is beautiful and well decorated.
Perfect place to see wildlife and to get away from our hectic lives.
And a GREAT VALUE!!!!

A perfect respite!

We were looking for a get away that was away from it all! This certainly offered that and more. A great log cabin that is comfortable and has the comforts of home tucked in the woods with beautiful vistas out onto a wetland and lake. Deer visited every day, flocks of geese rested in the lake every night and saw a heron. Wonderful covered front porch that make even a rainy day perfect. Cozy wood burning stove and fire pit for warming the soul. Our golden retrievers were reluctant to leave! Caught bass in the lake and let the dogs swim a bit. Very easy to get to. Recommend it to anyone that needs to get away from the hustle and bustle. We will make this a regular get away! Great fishing in nearby lakes and Lake michigan.

Beautifully constructed, clean and comfortable hideaway in the woods is peaceful yet close to plenty of family fun.
