Truro has the best of both worlds for it is quiet but with many activities for your enjoyment. All the beaches on either the ocean side or bay side are within a short drive and are some of the best beaches you will find throughout your travels. If you've had a little too much beach activity and looking for something else to do then a whale watch is a must. The waters surrounding Cape Cod are full of life and a beautiful thing to experience. There is also kayaking, canoeing, surfing, fishing, and many other ways to enjoy the ocean. Within a short drive from the home is Highland Golf Course for the golfers in the party, Highland Museum for the cultured tourist or spend the day in Provincetown sightseeing, shopping or taking a beach buggy tour of the prettiest sand dunes in the United States. The restaurants in our area appeal to everybody from fine dining to snack bars with the best lobster, clams, scallops, and seafood.
