A luxury oceanfront estate in an exclusive gated community. A white sandy beach lies a few hundred feet away. Within walking distance of the heart of Kailua-Kona town.

Words can hardly capture the beauty of this luxury oceanfront estate. Truly the best location on the entire Kona coast. The house is located in exclusive Kona Bay Estates. This community has 24 hour security and is gated. You can walk to Kona village where there is fine dining, shopping, and lots of activities or grab your towel and walk to a white sandy beach and lagoon a few hundred feet away. Keiki beach is ideal for children and swimming. The house sits on over half an acre of tropical landscaping. There is an open air entry through doors to a pond with massive waterfall and a second entry into the house. You will be awe struck with the view of the blue pacific ocean over looking the pool with mosaic turtles, and spa. The main living area has custom folding doors that open on 3 sides of the house to bring the outside in, and all the ocean breezes.

The main area is fabulous for entertaining, from the gourmet kitchen with all the finest appliances, large curved granite bar, koa entertainment center, and dinning for all your guests. The furnishings have all been done with the island life style.

We have just completed a full remodel with stone floors throughout, beautiful granite; koa treatment, jetted tub, and lanai/pool have been completely refinished.

The master bedroom suite is privately situated upstairs with increasable views. So romantic you'll never want to leave. Canopy king bed, sitting area, etched glass walk in shower, jetted tub, (looking onto the ocean) and walk in closet. There is a separate media lounge area. This area does have a convertible sofa for extra sleeping. Leading from the media room are spiral stairs up to the observation room with twin beds. The observation room has 360 degree windows for great views of the ocean and mountains. Prefect place for older children to hang out.

The 2nd floor also has another suite with a queen canopy bed, and private bath. The 3rd suite is on the main level with a king bed and lanai over looking the pond, and water fall.

The home is ideally located within 1 mile of Kailua-Kona village, Kailua pier, abundant variety of dining including the famous FishHopper restaurant, and walking distance to 6 lighted tennis courts, and waterfront shopping. Besides the private pool, there is a swimming lagoon and beautiful white sand beach within the gated community. This lagoon is one of the few places on the kona coast which is useable all year round. The shallow water warms during the day making it comfortable for bathing year around.

We provide additional concierge service as requested e.g. maid service, airport pickup, flowers, private whale watching/snorkeling/tours, private and gourmet chef.

You will be so delighted with this home; you'll want to come back year after year.

There is a 5 night minimum stay/10 during Ironman & Christmas season. This is a non-smoking, no pets property. Hawaii Tax ID: W 03561246-01

FRIENDS GATHERED HERE FOR A MUCH NEEDED BREAK FROM THE MAINLAND. THE BLUE WATER HOUSE WAS JUST WANT WE NEEDED.

WE FOUND GOOD SNORKELING BY THE HARBOR, AND THOUGHT THE BITE ME FISH MARKET WAS A PERFECT SPOT TO GET FRESH FISH FOR DINNER, AND DELICIOUS FISH TACOS..

THE SPINNER DOLPHINS PUT ON A SPECTACULAR SHOW ONE MORNING OFF OUR SEA WALL. HOPE THE SUBSEQUENT BLUE WATER GUESTS WITH BE BLESSED AS WELL.

An amazing home with a perfect pool area. The view and the sunsets were a gift. We did have problems with the oven and the jacuzzi, but property management worked with us. Air conditioning would have made a real difference for the bedrooms during the summer months.

Aloha and Mahalo for the comments. The oven has been repaired, it was brand new in 2013, and the Jacuzzi is working well. The Jacuzzi is on a timer, set to take advantage of the sunsets which are from depending on the seasons. Kona Coast Vacations' office is open 7 days a week so that we can respond to any home issues. this was our second stay at Bluewater House - the first in 2009. The overall home condition has improved since then. All was perfect except the cleanliness of the floors - we arrived to find gritty floors in the bedroom! Otherwise the place was immaculate, good quality appliances, nice sheets and towels. Will come back!

I travel a lot and work in the travel business, and I have to say this is my new favorite go to place. I will definitely be staying here again. Loved the location, the pool, everything.

Three things to note:

1. No in hotter months watch out. I would suggest to the owners a portable unit for the bedrooms.

2. Must be careful with the mongooses. They will try to come in your space if you leave food out. We did not do that, but they were very friendly. Had to shoo a couple away.

3. Pacific Island Fitness is just a couple of blocks away and will let you join for short term while you are visiting the area. Great gym...a tad on the old side, but you will feel like you are in the movie, "Rocky"
