Proprietor, Sir Dr Russell Betts ('Russ') has lived & worked most of his professional life in Asia, the South Pacific & Europe, addressing through non-governmental agencies issues of social, economic, & political change. His partner, Noel Bennett, has lived most of her life in the Southwest. She is a full-time abstract artist. In the past she authored 9 books on Navajo weaving, history, and culture, and was a prominent national figure in the weaving world.....Guests love the local & international perspectives Russ & Noel offer, their extensive knowledge of Santa Fe & northern New Mexico, & their willingness to share.

For instance, Casa Galeria is an adjacent property with access around the corner (Listing #186903--2 BR/1 bath) Then located a block away, in the same quiet, historic neighborhood, is the affiliated 3-adobe-home Otero-by-the-Plaza Compound (Listing #s 8126419, 126404, and126506). This compound is characterized by spacious gathering spaces, quiet privacy, and delightful colors with international art and artifacts throughout. The full array of eight neighborhood homes can accommodate up to 42 guests. As such, it is a flexible and gracious launching pad for groups with varied interests to disperse at will, easily regroup, share good times, and create lasting memories. A favorite for weddings, family reunions, and other celebratory occasions!
Welcome :
When you arrive at a Colorful Santa Fe home, we are there to personally greet you, orient you to grocery store and other options--and answer any other questions you may have. In addition, we supply each of our homes with a welcome binder which includes maps of Santa Fe and the environs and some ideas of things to do and places to go. A very favorite with our guests is our extensive section of restaurant menus -- arranged by closeness of proximity (those to walk or drive to) and by special interests such as Take Out, Healthy Eating, Favorites with Kids, and Less Expensive Fare. When we say 'Welcome Home,' we mean it.
