A hidden gem!

We call the house a "hidden gem" because from the street view one wouldn't think the house is as nice as it is. This was our third summer staying here, and we return each summer because we love Rehoboth and the house suits our needs perfectly. We also like the assurance that if there are any issues, Karen responds immediately.
The layout of house makes it feel quite spacious, and the bedrooms are spread out so we don't feel like we are on top of each other all week. The house is also very well equipped with all of the amenities we need. We love that there is a washer/dryer and wireless Internet access. But, most of all, we love that we are allowed to bring our dogs on vacation with us. Most rental houses that allow dogs remind me of a bad college apartment, so we love that we can stay in a beautiful, well-maintained house while vacationing with our pets. The property is also completely fenced in so we don’t have to worry about pets or kids near the street.
The beach is about four and a half blocks away (about a 10 min. walk). We brought bikes this year, which made it super easy for the kids, but truthfully the walk is not bad at all. Hickman ends right at the beach, and we noticed this year that the beach area right in front of Hickman (lifeguard chair 15) does not seem as crowded as it is just a few lifeguard chairs towards Rehoboth Ave., and it thins out even more as you head towards Dewey.
The house is also just minutes from shopping on Rehoboth Ave. and Route 1 (for groceries or the outlets). There is also a wonderful children's park just a block away.
I wholeheartedly recommend this property for your vacation.
