Centrally located, very well equipped Chappy cottage - excellent proximity (1 mi - easy bike ride, drive or long walk) to Wasque or East Beach/ Dyke Bridge -- and steps from beautiful paths through Land Bank conservation areas. Chappy is a truly special place. The peace and quiet in the woods and on the beaches is great - and you can still have the convenience and fun of Edgartown's shops and restaurants with a 5 minute drive or short bike ride and 2 minute ferry ride.

Living room and kitchen/ dining area with hardwood floors and lots of sunshine. Kitchen has the gadgets and tools the chef will need. 4 roomy bedrooms and 2 full baths plus enclosed outdoor shower. First Floor: 1BR w/Double, 1 BR w/ a Full/Twin bunk + 1 Twin. 2nd Floor: 1 BR w/Double + twin, Master BR with King and private balcony.

Great SCREENED PORCH, deck, grill and amenities!

Basement is full of stuff for the beach - including chairs, cooler, bacci, kayaks, beach towels and more...

We spend our sunny days on Chappy on one of the secluded strands between the Katama Bay and the ocean, or Cape Pogue Pond and East Beach. We come with clam rakes, umbrellas, and a big box of beer. I love the birds, my wife loves the water and the sun, our friends paddle kayaks or set out bocci, and the kids build castles. The hammock in the yard is good for a novel or two. We grill, cook-up our clams, or bake fresh-from-the-local-fleet fish. Edgartown is easy to reach for walking tours or shopping. Car shopping trips onto Martha's Vineyard always include a stop at Morning Glory Farm for vegetables grown on the island. At least once a season, we have to make the pilgrimage to the carousel at OB, and we love to watch the sunset over by Menemsha.
