This old fashioned, traditional New England cape has a kitchen, dining room, and living room on the first floor. The living room has a cozy wood burning fire place. Three bedrooms and full bath are upstairs. The master bedroom has a queen bed and extra twin. The smaller bedrooms have two twins each. There is a lovely ocean view from the upstairs bedroom and the front lawn. There is a great back yard for having barbecues and for children to play. The house is a minute's walk to the secluded little beach where you can sit and read a book, splash and swim in the water or view spectacular sunsets. It is a stone's throw from the quaint village where you will find a grocery store, post office, lobster pound and a gift shop. And it is a five-minute walk to the lovely 2 1/2 mile white sandy beach where you will enjoy long afternoons in the sun. This beach is perfect for long walks, swimming and surfing. The children love to lounge and splash in the tide pools.

Biddeford Pool is a sleepy town that will take you back in time. It is a wonderful place for children to ride bikes and scooters; there are nature walks and an Audubon preserve. You can climb on the rocks by the ocean or walk on the sandy beach. It is a wonderful spot for kayaking or sailing - choose the calm 'pool' waters or the more exciting open ocean. From just about everywhere on the 'Pool' you will see incredibly beautiful views of the ocean, boats and nearby islands. You can even kayak out to nearby Wood Island for a tour of the lighthouse. Biddeford Pool is the perfect secluded summer spot for a family vacation. If you are looking for shopping, great restaurants or nightlife, Biddeford Pool is near lots of hot spots: Kennebunkport, Freeport (with L.L. Bean one of its many wonderful shops), Old Orchard Beach with its amusement park and lovely Portland with so many terrific restaurants and museums are all within 10 - 20 miles of Biddeford Pool.
