The 'Moose River Retreat', is a newly built log home at the mouth of the Moose River that provides the perfect family get-away from your hectic schedule! Dock affords easy access to river/Moosehead Lake. Cabin includes 1 master bedroom with queen bed, 1 bedroom with full size bed and 1 lofted sleeping area with 2 twins. Full kitchen includes amenities listed and use of all dish ware and cookware for your convenience. Cozy living area includes pellet stove, and glassed-in porch for extra living space. 1 Bathroom with large shower stall, and heat fan for after those cold winter days outdoors. Perfect cozy getaway, close to all activities! This is the perfect base camp for numerous outdoor activities- hiking, boating, paddling, rafting, snowmobiling, fishing, etc!! We can also direct you to a guide service to easily coordinate all your activities.

This cozy cabin is beautiful, spotlessly clean and supremely comfortable. All the comforts of home! The location is convenient to all that the area has to offer. It is a great getaway any time of year.

Arrived to a clean, well kept home. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Exactly as the pictures portray. Could not have been happier. Most likely will return next year. Owners were wonderful. Nothing at all could have been better!!I'd recommend this to anyone. The Birches was excellent to dine at also.
