This charmingly renovated home offers water views and a very large private yard. There are 3 levels; the upper level consisting of the master bedroom with a full bath, and the dining room, living room, kitchen areas - all fronted by a very large deck with a partial retractable awning providing the option of either sun or shade, as well as cover from the rain. There are commanding Menemsha Pond and Vineyard Sound water views from everywhere on this level. The middle level has a family room/living room, 2 bedrooms, one a queen and one a double, as well as a full bath with tub and shower. There is an outside entrance here leading to either the outside shower, the outside stairs for the upper deck, or to the yard. The lower level has an extremely large bedroom with a queen and a twin, a private bath with shower and laundry area, as well as sliders out to the yard. The yard offers plenty of space for dozing in the hammock, playing games, or sunbathing and reading in privacy.

    Trash pick-up is arranged by homeowner, deducted from tenant security. In 2008, it was $32. for 3 barrels.
    Financial consideration is given for multiple-week rentals of 3 weeks or more. We are flexible as to turnaround days, one week minimum.

Center, Menemsha: The house is 1/2 mile from the Chilmark Community Center, and of course allows access to both Lucy Vincent Beach, 1 and 1/2 mile away, as well as Squibnocket Beach, a 5 minute drive. The fish markets, restaurants, and Menemsha Beach and Harbor are 2 and 2/10 miles, allow about 7 minutes to get there. This home has proven to be the perfect layout for either multigenerational or 2-family rentals; the 2 separate living rooms and 3 floors allowing ample space to gather together, retreat, or entertain with one's peers. What a perfect combination of features-privacy, quiet, and nearby access to all Chilmark has to offer!
