Mountaintop Southwestern Adobe - Great Views

Our stay at Casa del Sol was superb. The house is grand and all appointments in the home were excellent. The home is close to town and yet out far enough to give you that Rocky Mountain retreat feeling. The views from the home are grand and made for great times on the deck. Wildlife was everywhere including mule deer and wild turkeys in the yard. The hummingbirds and local birdlife was spectactular including golden eagles.
If you want that southwest feeling and a Colorado vacation among the ponderosa pines this is the place for you. We can't wait for a return visit.

This house was very clean and as described. We slept very comfortably and this home has all of the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. Beautiful location, quiet, and close to Wolf Creek. The town of Pagosa is a wonderful place to visit. Really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, great views and saw elk and wild turkeys down on the hill. Comfortable beds, ping pong was fun on the lower level - can't wait to return!

Casa del sol was magnificent. It was everything that we imagined and more. Pagosa Springs was a great choice for our vacation. It was perfect for the 6 of us. We had plenty of room. The view from inside and outside the house was breath taking. The quiet sounds of the San Juan river flowing behind the house was inspirational. The views were very enjoyable. We also enjoyed the games and ping pong table. During our stay we awoke to find to sweet bears in the front yard eating. We also have seen squirrels, chipmunks, birds, prairie dogs, deer, elk, lizards, and much more to mention. The house was well stocked with everything that we could think of. Larry was very helpful. He recommended the very yummy restaurants. A week was not long enough for us to see everything. We now how a new favorite place to vacation.
It was quite a struggle for us to leave Casa de sol and its wonderful views and weather. Beautiful house and town. What more can you ask for.
