A superb base from which to commute or to explore central London. Accessed by steps leading to your own front door you will find solid oak flooring and quality furnishings throughout. On those nights when you want to stay in, enjoy cooking in the contemporary kitchen and dine alfresco in the fully lit, decked patio garden. Even Better Than Expected!

We selected this flat based on the usual criteria - reviews, photos, location, and amenities. It exceeded every expectation. Fleur greeted us and gave us an overview of the flat, plus provided fresh flowers, bottled water and fresh milk, a welcome basket of treats, and a fully-stocked Nespresso machine. The flat is beautiful, even better than the photos. Comfortable furniture, great towels (even face cloths, rare outside the U.S.) and bedding. The double bed took some getting used to, as we are larger-than-average Americans who have a king-sized bed at home, but it was a minor wrinkle. And the location is, as the British say, BRILLIANT! Transportation to anywhere in London and beyond is available within a few blocks, and walking to many other parts of London is easy if the weather cooperates. We walked all over, even though it was quite cold and windy. (One piece of advice - invest in an Oyster Card with the Travel Card option. It will allow you easy access to the tube and all buses.)
There are many grocery stores close to the flat, and a number of restaurants. The Chelsea Ram, around the corner on Burnaby Street, is a lively pub with good food and drink. We also enjoyed the Stockpot on Kings Road for a pasta lunch, but not so much for breakfast. The Trafalgar Pub, further east on Kings Road, was also good. Our Sunday lunch at the Brown Cow on Fulham Road was excellent. We also stayed in several nights and cooked take-away pizzas, made salads, drank wine and watched movies. There is a wonderful selection of DVDs in the flat.
Do go to the theater if you can, although it is expensive. Also, avoid eating in over-priced, mediocre restaurants in the theater district. We learned that the hard way. Go to as many museums as you can. Most are free except for special exhibits, and those are usually worth the admission fee. We enjoyed the Victoria and Albert, both Tates, both National Galleries, the Royal Academy, and the Saatchi in Chelsea.
I could go on forever, but will leave space for other reviewers. Suffice to say, London is a magical city, and Fleur's flat is a perfect place from which to explore it.

A gem in Chelsea!

I've rented many apartments all over Europe and this one was the best! It was clean and beautifully decorated, well located in a quiet area. The owner was wonderful and very attentive! I would certainly recommend this apartment to family and friends and if I find myself in London again, that's where I'll go!

Comfortable and ideally situated.

We had the pleasure of spending the month of October in London, at this flat in Chelsea. This was our "trip of a lifetime," to enjoy the leisure of four weeks to learn the city. This flat was beautifully appointed and thoroughly equipped, with many thoughtful touches. We sometimes cooked our own dinners and breakfasts, watched DVDs on the TV, listened to music and enjoyed our own little back garden. Now that I'm back home, I would return in a heartbeat.

Exactly What We Wanted

“Fleur’s flat” satisfied all of our London needs. Quiet, clean, large enough, and well provisioned (loved the Nespresso machine). It's also close to several bus lines and within a 5-minute walk to the train to Gatwick and a 15-minute walk to the Fulham Broadway tube station. What more could we want? Fleur herself was very helpful in planning our trip as well as willing to keep our bags for 2 1/2 weeks while we walked the Thames Path to London. We truly enjoyed our week in Fleur’s comfortable sanctuary close to yet removed from the hustle and bustle of London.

We both had a great time in your lovely apartment, very central only had to use a taxi once & that was to the airport to go home!!
Very easy for shopping even used the C3 bus to go to Sainsburys.

This is a peaceful little corner of Chelsea but within minutes you can access all this vibrant city has to offer; here are just a few of things that may take your fancy.....

Go for a morning stroll in the lovely green space of Westfield Park, which is less than a minute away... Kick your heels through the leaves and you are directly on Kings Road with its legendary shops and nightlife. Alternatively start your day with a walk along the river, coffee in hand, at Chelsea Harbour. For the more energetic go running along the Embankment; the Thames is less than 5 mins away. Browse the amazing interior design and antiques shops for which this part of Chelsea is known. The Chelsea Design Centre is less than 5 mins walk.

There are great transport connections here - a 10 min bus ride will take you to Sloane Square tube station where you can pick up the District & Circle Line and access the West End, the City etc . Hop on the 325 bus and you are at High Street Kensington in 15 mins, Notting Hill in 20 mins.... The C3 bus on the other hand will get you to Earls Court in under 10 mins.

Imperial Wharf Station is less than 5 min away in just one stop you visit an exhibition at Olympia or change at Clapham Junction and catch one of the frequent connections to Gatwick Airport or Brighton. So the world really is your Oyster card!

The fashionista will not want to miss out on Sloane Street & Knightsbridge .... Harrods, Harvey Nichols and every Designer imaginable .....

And the football fan may visit close by Stamford Bridge.....

If history is more your thing, this is an excellent base from which to reach the Natural History Museum, the V&A ,The Tate Modern - all within 30 mins bus or tube.

If you love the theatre hop on a bus to cutting edge Royal Court on Sloane Square or black cab it to The West End.

The foodie will not be disappointed - Dotted around you you will find Gordon Ramsay's 3 Michelin star restaurant, The River Cafe, La Famiglia, Chutney Mary etc etc. Lovely Farmers Markets and great little Chelsea pubs offering cosy bar meals.

Live like a Londoner catch a water taxi to the city...see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament from the Water.

Or you can have a drink and read a book in the local pub.

And if you still have the energy hit the world famous nightspots in walking distance .... 606 club, 515, Embargo 59
