Photos and Description of the Hampton Beach vacation cottage rental - 2 bedrooms (one queen, two fulls), 1 bath, sleeps six

Our beach cottage is a short walk (on sidewalk) to North Beach. Our cottage has a great front deck, take in the summer under the umbrella or on our Adirondack chairs. Enjoy beautiful marsh and pond views and incredible sunsets from our deck. We have a private outdoor shower for washing after the beach, or just enjoying a cool off on a hot day! Our backyard is large and is fenced in, safe for families with young children! Back deck for lounging, picnic table in back yard as well. Description of the interior - first floor has living room with vaulted ceiling, full kitchen, bedroom with one queen bed, bath with tub and shower and washer/dryer. Upstairs is the private loft bedroom with two full beds. We have lots of good reviews from our past renters, see some guest book comment below. Note: Our rates include rental tax and cleaning fees.

Nearest Beach: beach at 0.3 Miles
A short walk to North Beach, a lot quieter than Hampton Beach and without the traffic and congestion! The beach is quite long, great for walking or just hanging out and playing in the sand and waves. This beach is popular with families. Our beach has bathrooms and lifeguards. You can take a short ride south to Hampton Beach - and enjoy the arcades, bars and restaurants, and live entertainment at the Shell stage. There are plenty of non-beach activities - a huge water park just up Route 1; visit Portsmouth with wonderful shops and historical sites, as well as a children's museum; take a boat to the Isle of Shoals; shop at the outlets; or visit one of the many nearby state parks - to name a few..

We spent a lovely week in this great beach house. We have 2 young children who made the most of the nearby beach and the great equipment provided. We didn't travel far as there was no need - the beach and the house and decks were sufficient to create the best environment for a really relaxing sunny week by the ocean.
The nearby beach isn't as crowded as further down towards Hampton and when the tide is out there are great rockpools to explore - starfish, sea urchins, crabs etc. There are a couple of cafes down the street as well as a great surf shop and home-made candy store.
Other activities are really close by - such as mini golf and whale watching from Rye Harbour - both of which the children loved.

The house had everything we needed (and more!) and we found it hard to leave!
