BANDIT'S LAIR is located atop one of the highest points on Northern OBX. This gracious home overlooks the 11th Green of the prestigious Currituck Club, with wide ocean views beyond plus Sound views to the west. Reduced golf rates included! Decks abound at this home, offering views, sun, shade or simply privacy. Designed to take advantage of the incredible Ocean & Sound views, this home includes the finest amenities, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy them. Even from the pool level (at 40' elevation), Ocean views abound. The 16 x 32 pool (optionally heated) and hot tub are surrounded by an oversized concrete lounging/patio area - even a large sandbox is built into the landscaping for the young ones.

There is a ground-level rec room with kitchenette, plus garage/game room with billiards and ping pong. A full bath (with outside entry) and laundry area are also on the ground floor for convenient access from the pool or beach. There are two bedrooms here as well.

The middle level of this home includes 3 private Bedroom Suites plus an additional private Family Suite. The unique Family Suite consists of a King bedroom and separate kids' bedroom with pyaramid bunks (double below, twin on top) with another twin pullout below, as well as a large bathroom with the vanity separate from the tub/shower and commode -- with its own entry door, the entire Family Suite can be closed off from the hallway and the rest of the house. There is also a Den or 8th bedroom with a closet and pullout Queen sofabed.

Except for the ground level bedrooms, every other room and bedroom open onto decks. Third Floor Elegance: The private Main Master Suite on the third floor also offers a jacuzzi in the huge fully tiled master bath. A large open living area greets you on the top floor which can be arrived at by elevator if desired. A gourmet kitchen with two sinks and a prep Island offers all the amenities and the large dining area and over-sized decks make for great entertaining with wonderful ocean, sound and golf course views. Above the great room is the special Ship's Watch where you are nearly 70' above sea level. From this cozy loft or the loft balcony, you can enjoy a sunrise with your morning coffee or a sunset with an evening cocktail. Wherever you go in Bandits Lair, the serenity and water views are with you!

More Things to Do: Discounted Greens Fees & priority Tee Times are some of the privileges the golfers in your party will enjoy, due to our membership in The Currituck Club Golf Course. Non-golfers can watch the fun, as this home overlooks the 11th Green & down the fairway to the Tees.

A little further up the road is the Currituck Lighthouse and the Whalehead Club for an interesting step back in time and panoramic views of the northern Outer Banks. At the north end of Corolla is the 4x4 Country. Perfect for fishing, picnicking or just to experience the amazing wild life. The wild ponies come right down onto the beach and are a sight to behold. We are residents of the Long Beach Island, New Jersey, and believe that 'views' make all the difference. We have also built many homes at the Jersey Shore. We chose this site and designed Bandits Lair to be a great rental home with space for everyone and views from nearly every room. We enjoy Bandits Lair in the off-season and have celebrated many holidays here.

Why Steve Sepanak chose Corolla

Having previously rented homes in the area for our own vacations, we found that the large dunes on the Northern Outer Banks generally block any ocean views from any homes that aren't actually oceanFRONT.We chose this lot because of it's high elevation, great water views, and its size - it is one of the largest lots in theCurrituck Club. Our goal was to have ocean views from even the pool level - and we achieved that!

Notes: This home sleeps 16 comfortably but can accommodate 2 additional children. The beds are: 3 kings, 2 queens, 1 full, 4 twins, 1 sleep sofa. There is an elevator from the first floor to the 3rd floor making it perfect for the older folks. Just about every room has a view of either the ocean or the bay, most bedrooms have decks. Main kitchen offers granite counters, plenty of cabinets and storage, prep area, two garbage disposals and counter bar for informal entertaining. Located centrally on the main floor so the cook(s) is not isolated from the rest of the group. Additional kitchenette on first floor with refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and prep area for 2nd BBQ down by the pool. First floor offers full size pool table and ping pong table in game room/garage. Master suite on third floor for privacy to lounge in bed or soak in the Jacuzzi while listening to your own CD/stereo system. Additional den and rec room offers a place for everyone.

What a pleasure it has been to have your gorgeous house for the week! Some crazy fun with the elevator -- very handy too!

The pool is refreshing, the views are incredible, and overall an outstanding house! (I wish I owned it!)

We spent a lot of time on the deck with the views, and hanging and chilling out on the balconies. Some storms but the weather turned out perfect!

The rooms were comfy, along with the Living Room -- very nice how there are TVs in every room in the house.

We found this book under one of the kid beds so we thought we should get it out and write in it!

We had a great vacation with my mom and 2 sisters and their families. We get together often at my house, but to spend an entire week together has been a blast!

We went on the 4-wheel drive beach in the F-350 totally loaded down with 15 people. we almost got stuck. Played lots of games at night and went to the beach most days!!

50th Anniversary Get Together
