This was a great place to stay and enjoy the winter activies of northern Michigan. If you love the feel of a real log home and breath taking views arcoss a snow covered lake, this is the place. There is plenty of space with large rooms and bath rooms.
It is easy to get to right off M-33. Town it not too far off and the snowmobile trail is a mile up the road. The Ski resorts and Macinaw is not too far away also. There is also pleanty of room to park your snowmobile trailer and get in and out. One of the nicest places we have stayed in Michigan.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Perfect Winter Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway!! The cabin had all of the amenities that we needed to enjoy ourselves. The hot tub was great, the view from the large lake facing windows was beautiful. The quiet serenity of the surrounding area was very relaxing. We also had fun swinging on the rope swing and playing some air hockey. You have the feel of getting away, while still being about15-20 minutes away from Cheboygan.

It was just the 2 of us for this weekend, but it sleeps 10 I believe, with plenty to do with a larger group during the summer or winter.

This Cheboygan cabin is the place to be! Secluded enough to relax in a peaceful environment, but close enough to not be completely off the map. Plenty of space, clean, beautiful views, great wood burning stove. The pictures and description don't do this cabin justice...it's better in person! You feel right at home as soon as you step in the door. Maintained very well. Great customer service from Cynthia as well. She is really on top of things! Will defiantly be making a trip back in the future!

We found the cabin to be quite family friendly and comfortable. Although the furnishings are somewhat worn, it was nice to not have to be worried about little children running around and harming anything. The master bed is rather firm but all the other mattresses were quite comfortable and the flannel bedding was a nice touch. Very much enjoyed soaking in the large tub, reading a book from the collection at the cabin. The setting was pleasant and we will definitely consider coming here again on future visits to the area.

Each year we replace some of the furniture- a bit at a time, & we just put the new recliners and sofa in a couple of weeks before your arrival.
