The home is located in charming Chatham. This is a prime location for fishing, beaching, bicycling (the bike trail is within a mile), tennis, golf, antiquing and just plain relaxing. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood off Queen Anne Road in Chatham, on 1/2 acre of flat well-treed property, this charming home is decorated in a clean Classic Country style with quilts and antiques. It has been used by both brides' and grooms' wedding parties. It has a brand new, luxury, fully-equipped kitchen, two brand new spa-type baths, a dining area, living room with wood burning fireplace, and central air-conditioning (and heat). The charm of the property is fully experienced from the extra large deck, with a gas grill and gracious patio furniture. The 24' x 24' deck has a Weber barbecue, and outdoor furniture for both dining and sunning. However you are still connected, if you want to be, via wire-less broadband Internet, and cable television.

The main street of Chatham has many fine restaurants and several blocks of charming shops. In addition, the home is located 1.5 miles from the 137/39 cross-roads in Harwich (multi-plex movie theater, video store, a super-market). Each Friday night in the summer, the town band of Chatham plays at an open-air concert in the town park which younger children, in particular, seem to enjoy. The house is about a mile from the bike path from which many villages and beaches can be reached via bicycle. Local tennis courts and golf is within a few miles. The house is 0.8 miles from School House Pond - parking and life guards, suitable for young children; approximately 3 miles from the nearest Nantucket Sound beaches - with tidal pools; and about four miles from Light House Beach, the Atlantic Ocean Beach, . A yoga class is offered each morning at 7:30 am on Light House Beach, facing the Ocean. There is a college baseball league on the Cape (2 games/week, workshop for kids).

Guest Book Comments: I can't let another day go by without telling you how much we loved our visit to your home! From the time we pulled up and saw the gorgeous planters on the steps welcoming us, we relaxed! The weather was sensational for the first three days and we sat on the beach, walked and walked and even rented a Boston Whaler on Pleasant Bay! Thursday we hit the health club and didn't get rain til the late afternoon and Friday we finally shopped and went to see an early movie. We loved the restaurant Pisces, The desserts were over the top and the little old bathroom reminded me of our old summer house! On Friday, we hit the Red Roof Cottage for Tom's birthday breakfast and they sang him Happy Birthday! I asked him where he wanted his birthday dinner and he said, 'here, at home!' Sweet, we hit the fish pier and grilled swordfish on the deck!

We've spent our first day here at the house, and it is

absolutely lovely. We had no problems finding it or

getting inside, and everything is perfect.

The house book is very helpful, and the wine was a

thoughtful touch.

Thanks again--it is absolutely fabulous.

We are delighted with the house. It is even better than the pictures and the description led us to believe.

Also thank you for the great list of things to do and the restaurants to visit.

The quilts and antiques are wonderful. Everywhere we turn there is something wonderful to see.

My family and I were priviledged to spend a week,this past August at the house on 62 Duck Marsh La., Chatham. The house was perfect, beautiful, spacious, clean, very clean! It was convenient to all beaches and town. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special get away. We fell in love with the house.

There's no place like home!

My husband and I have been staying at this property since September 2005. We immediately felt like we were home and since the new bathrooms and kitchen have been added, it is sometimes even better than being at home! Although there are so many great restaurants in Chatham, we usually opt to enjoy this gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances and gas cooktop. Between the kitchen and grill on the deck, we are set! Staying at this cozy home is so convenient for everything else we want to do but no matter what plans we have for the day on the Cape, we are always happy to spend time "at home!" We have even come to stay during the winter which is just idyllic!

Fantastic Vacation! Beutiful Home!

Our family cannot thank you enough for fanstic vacation!!! The house is beatiful!! You put a lot of thought into all the little details. The landscaping is so pretty and well cared for. The kitchens and bathrooms are spacious, clean and impeccbaly updated. The back deck is HUGE and private. We enjoyed relaxing on the louge chairs with a good book first thing in the morning and cooking out at night while the sun set. The internet was a life saver – if it weren’t for the wi-fi, my husband would have had to go into the office one day during our vacation, but instead he was able to work from the house. The welcome book perfect because it included maps, recommendations for resturants and beaches – we used it several times a day. The location was excellent – just a short drive to beaches, fish pier, resturants, shopping and site seeing. Everyday we visited a different beach. We have already reccomended the house to friends and family. 5 stars!!

Wonderful place!!!!

We would like to say WOW!! Your home was more than the pictures show. Our family had a wonderful time in Chatham and your home played a big part in our vacation. The kitchen is outstanding and the bathrooms were beautiful. We spent may afternoons on the large deck. The accommodations were just fantastic and lots to do in the area. Your home has everything and more. Highly recommended. Perfect for our kids too!
