This unique apartment with garden, pool and air condition in the very historical centre of Florence offers a sophisticated home to everybody who is interested in visiting Florence. Three suites, each on two floors are composed of study on the ground floor and bed gallery because the original height of the ceilings allowed this architectural composition of great taste and chic, sophisticated lifestyle.
Three bath rooms each with a shower on the ground floor and one with a jacuzzi bath tub on the top level for the master bed room only.
The double living area is spacious and reflects the original building and history of the house offering even entertainment space with a Piano. In addition there is an extra TV room to enjoy films with the family and/or friends with the option of 'chaise longues' , armchairs with the possibility to put up your legs.
Each bedroom has an integrated study on the ground floor with a desk and a place to chill, while on the upper part are walk in closets and spacious bed rooms.
A perfect combination and successful playing with the heights. The very central location, the garden with enough outside space for a dinner party and the extraordinary existence of a pool in the heart of the historical centre of Florence makes this apartment so special and unique. It has been designed by a couple of two young architects who made the concept for their family with two children and a maid, with a perfect mix for all ages and combinations, with refined materials and colours. It is a very representative apartment of which one can be proud of living in it.
It´s special touch shows that the owners were always in touch with historical architecture, love art and design and made a harmonious mix in their apartment in Florence down town.

Luxury Apartment in the heart of Florence on the top floor is the 'Panorama Hotel', a fine Art Hotel in case you should have more guests than you can host in the apartment.
We are a family of three now and the children study abroad. We were both architects and I am very busy with my work. We love art, design and historical buildings, we love to travel and learning about culture and cultures.
Claudia Pirazzi purchased this apartment in 2006
This apartment with it´s crossed vaulted ceilings, it´s garden in the centre of Florence and it spacious height gave us immediately the impression of what we could do here and we did. We could not believe it that we managed to the the permit for the pool here!
The location which is an AAA location with a garden and a private pool, it´s space and size and the cut, which gives each member a suite and not only a bed room. A luxury apartment so close to all museums and churches allows you also in the hot summer to enjoy Florence as you can refresh yourself even between one visit and another in your own private pool.
An oasis of calm and peace, the place to explore Florence from. Thank you for an incredible experience. James S.
A beautiful home in a magical place. - Thank you Fawe .
The photos on internet are not showing the real beauty and you underestimate the size. Gary
My first impulse, when I saw the pictures of the flat was: This can not be real. Fortunately, it is!
It is in a fantastic location, just behind the convent San Marco, about 500 metres from the cathedral.
The interior is amazing. The description just does not do it justice. Really amazing is the quality of the bathrooms (four of them), all nicely done, and the immense closet space.
This was our first vacation rental with enough space for everything and, in particular, enough sideboards and build in closets in the bathrooms.
Kitchen: We never ever had so many glasses, knives, pots etc in a vacation home.
The pictures are all accurate - but in reality the apartement is even better. It is an apartmentent which was clearly not planned as a vacation home but as a family home. It is perfect for parents with two older kids and a third
The property was well maintained. We arrived rather early and the pool was just in the process of being cleaned. The rest of the apartement was already done.
The poperty manager was very, very helpful; showed us around and helped with the first orientation (supermarket etc).
I already recommended this property to my friends, as it is such an outstanding property. If you don't mind the lack of room service it is clearly as good as a 5Star Hotel in Florence, but with more space and your very own private pool.
1) Rent a bicycle if you have meals in the house. The nearest biggger super market (Esselunga) is just about 5 minutes by bike. Close by are smaller super markets and other shops.
2) Departure by Plane: Do not leave valuables in your suitcases if you fly out with Lufthansa.
We were delighted with our stay in Firenze.
The home is an architectural gem - great living room for relaxing, professional quality kitchen, loft bedrooms over studies, incredible bathrooms. The pool was a boon in the hot weather - good for both laps and soaking. The home was immaculate when we arrived and we were able to arrange to arrive a little early. The air conditioning worked great during a hot spell and was very reasonable.
We had a family vacation that had been planned for 5 years - it was a perfect fit.
The location was perfect for a walking centered visit to Firenze.. Two blocks to the Academia and an eight minute walk to the Duomo.
Our host was gracious and very helpful - great suggestions when we asked and made us feel right at home.
I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting in any session.
Some of our favorite places in Firenze -
The Academia and the David
The Doumo and climbing to the top of the Campanile
Talking the #7 bus from Piazza San Marco to Fiesole to have dinner overlooking Firenze from the north.
Taking the #13 bus from the train station to Piazza Michelangelo to see the classic view of Firenze from the south with a glass of prosecco.
Shopping in the leather market near San Lorenzo.
The San Lorenzo Mercato - excellent shopping for food until 1400 in the lower level. Second floor open until late - great causal dining, wine tasting.
Uffizi Galley - Birth of Venus and the rest of an amazing collection that doesn't end
View and the shops on the Ponte Vechio
Day trip to Pisa and Sienna - rented car at Avis downtown - worked well - could return up until 2 am.
Restaurants we enjoyed -
Trattoria Sostanza - only two sittings - get reservations
Trattoria di Tito
Resturante il Borghetto - just off the Ponte Vechio on the way to Pitti Palace.
The Mercato Centrale
Great trip, great home base. Having this home to come back to made all the difference.
Excellent location, walk everywhere. The apartment is huge, very spacious and welcoming. Piano, garden, good size and very refreshing pool. Very nice details throughout. Newly done, clean bathrooms. Very good stove, functional and well equipped kitchen. There is an office space nicely done above the dining area. Three Bedrooms have two floors each, also nicely done loft type. The fourth bedroom, which we did not use is in a separate section. Claudia was a great host. We rented a car for a couple of days, but the area is restricted and no parking is allowed or found in this area, so I had to park by the Piazza Liberta for free until 8am and walk five blocks home. Mercato centrale is a great place to buy fresh food to cook at home, and it is at walking distance. I found the Despar supermarket down the street too expensive, so for other things I walked north all the way to Esselunga. We did not use the air conditioning because we found it unnecessary even though we are used to air conditioned home in Florida. We just followed Claudia's instructions to keep the house fresh. The pool was a little dirty with leaves and a little algae but we used it anyway, it was cool and refreshing. I did not like that they only took cash for the final payment. The deposit was refunded full. We can't wait to come back!
The most popular and important sites in Florence include the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Uffizi, the Bargello, and the Accademia, which are all within 10-15 minutes walk from the apartment. The churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce are veritable art galleries, and the library of San Lorenzo is a magnificent exhibition of Michelangelo's architectural genius. Wander some of the oldest streets in the city until you reach the Arno River, cross the Ponte Vecchio, and experience the 'newest' area of Florence, the Oltrarno. Be sure to set aside time to see the vast and varied art collection housed in the Pitti Palace. When you grow weary of museums and monuments, head outdoors. Spend a day at the Boboli Gardens or climb the hill to the church of San Miniato al Monte to experience an enchanting view of Florence.
The historic centre of Florence attracts millions of tourists each year, and Euromonitor International ranked the city as the world's 72nd most visited in 2009, with 1,685,000 visitors. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982. Due to Florence's artistic and architectural heritage, it has been ranked by Forbes as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and the city is noted for its history, culture, Renaissance art and architecture and monuments. Florence city also contains numerous museums and art galleries, such as the Uffizi Gallery and the Pitti Palace, amongst others, and still exerts an influence in the fields of art, culture and politics.
Florence is known as the 'cradle of the Renaissance' (la culla del Rinascimento) for its monuments, churches and buildings. The best-known site of Florence is the domed cathedral of the city, Santa Maria del Fiore, known as The Duomo, whose dome was built by Filippo Brunelleschi. The nearby Campanile (partly designed by Giotto) and the Baptistery buildings are also highlights. The dome, 600 years after its completion, is still the largest dome built in brick and mortar in the world. In 1982, the historic centre of Florence (Italian: centro storico di Firenze) was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. The centre of the city is contained in medieval walls that were built in the 14th century to defend the city. At the heart of the city, in Piazza della Signoria, is Bartolomeo Ammanati's Fountain of Neptune (1563–1565), which is a masterpiece of marble sculpture at the terminus of a still-functioning Roman aqueduct.
