Experience nature's solitude thru miles of seasonal roads around gorges, streams and oak forests. Boat, swim, fish, water ski or jet ski on Skaneateles spring fed glacier etched lake. Limestone floor means no mud or gunk -- one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Bicycle along East Lake road past farms, elegant estates and vineyards. Take a 20 minute boat ride from our cabin to downtown Skaneateles, buy some ice cream and eat it in the Village Gazebo. Life is good. We love the outdoors, but we're really not the 'camping' types. In the summer of 2003, we found this beautiful piece of property and decided to build an elegant cabin where we could enjoy nature graciously. Our image was to put a quality place in the midst of nature where privacy, beauty and serenity could be appreciated. We like to call it ... Rustic Elegance.
