This is a cottage with seaside charm! Walk through the double doors and you are greeted with bead board walls, spiral stairs wrapped with fishnet and a variety of seafaring nostalgia, including a lobster trap coffee table from Boston's own fishing pier! Walk up the spiral stairs into a recently renovated second floor with a private bedroom, a bath and a bright, comfortable sitting/sleep area. Yet another spiral staircase leads you to the master bedroom with bay window and skylight, a private bath, and the portal to the beloved mahogany roof deck. A great place to watch the sun setting over Sunset Island. Located in the village and only a short walk to almost anything you might need. Whether you are looking to spend your time on the beach, playing golf, shopping for antiques, golfing or touring the area (about 45 minutes from Boston or Newport, Rhode Island and a great vantage point for Cape Cod Excursions). This is a great place to call “home' for a week or two...

Onset Village is a quaint victorian walking community--a real diamond in the ruff! Located close enough to Boston and Rhode Island to take a day trip--about 45 minutes. Drive over the bridge and you are in Cape Cod. Hang out at the cottage in the hammock or on the beach. Walk to: beaches, local eateries and entertainment (including movies and bands), canal tours, charter boats, village and pier. Five minute drive to many other attractions including bike path, water park, golf courses, antiques, outlets, shopping, and more. There is also a strip mall located 5 minutes away where you can get your groceries and any other items you may need.

  • All three bathrooms have been newly renovated. They are bright and clean. Our second floor bathroom has a shower and our first floor bathroom has a washer and dryer. We also have a spacious private outdoor shower with hot and cold water. There is nothing like starting the day with a shower when you can look up and see trees and clouds...or ending the day with a shower in the moonlight.

  • This is a recently renovated, well kept home. It is bright and comfortable. The master bedroom has hardwood flooring with one queen bed positioned below a skylight so that you can look out and see the stars or walk up the stairs and sit out on the roof deck and watch for shooting stars or just enjoy the view. The master bedroom also has a small bathroom for your convenience and a bay view window overlooking sunset cove. A ceiling fan keeps this room comfortable for sleeping. Second floor bedroom also has a hardwood floor, two single beds and a full size futon. This bedroom has a small private deck--perfect for sitting out and reading. The second floor also boasts an open sitting/sleeping area with a queen size hypo-allergenic 8' futon which is very comfortable. This area can be separated from the general second floor area by a privacy curtain. There is a bathroom on each floor and we have an air mattress available.

The cottage and it's owners! After a year on the road our re-entry to this continent was spent resting up in this delightful home in Onset. We love it so much that we hope to be back in the fall! Rent this one with complete confidence!

We had such a great time! The cottage is very family oriented and it's very close to 2 beaches and town. We drove into the Cape almost everyday and it's a beautiful ride. The house is lovely and we can't wait to return!

We love visiting "Luv N' O'Bay!" The owners have clearly put a lot of work and love into it, and that makes it a great place to stay. We love to walk to the beach or into town, and the accommodations are comfortable and homey.

My husband and I have stayed at this cottage many times and have always been drawn back by its relaxed charm, leisurely environment and the absolutley gorgeous area. We are addicted!
