Nestled directly across from one of the most beautiful 'undiscovered' white sand beaches on Oahu, Paradise Found Beachside Suite offers peace, tranquility and rejuvenation. Waimanalo Beach is a spectacular stretch of white sandy beach with a length of nearly 5.5 miles, making it Oahu’s longest beach. Although it is a popular sun-bathing and swimming beach, because of its length and location away from the crowds of Waikiki, it’s one of the most uncrowded, pristine, and tranquil beaches on Oahu. Best of all, this beautiful beach is only steps away.
Paradise Found Beachside Suite sleeps up to three or four people. This private entrance suite has one bedroom with a queen sized bed, a sun/living room with a fold out full size bed (good for one adult or two petite adults), a kitchenette, and a full bath.
The property has a large yard that’s great for relaxing or for a barbecue. Local markets, plate lunch or McDonald's are within walking distance just a few blocks away.
Our suite is located directly across a very quiet (residential) street from the beach. Beach access is directly across the street and the ocean can be seen from our front yard. Although the suite is attached to our house, it is a separate unit that has its own private entrance.
We have two small dogs that stay outside and are very social and good with people.
NOTE: This is a full, private suite, and not a single room with common shared areas for eating, drinking or relaxing as are some other listings on VRBO. This is a private suite with 2 main rooms, a separate kitchenette, and a large bathroom. You also have use of our large back and front yards too.

A Big Thank you to Karen & Brian, Bella & Curly for providing us the first really relaxing vacation we have ever been on! We are usually in Waikiki and very ready to go home after 7-8 days, this time we really did NOT want to leave. This place was truly our little piece of Paradise to come home to. We really did have beach access right across the street. We got up every morning to watch the sunrise over Rabbit Island and even drove out to hike the 30 minutes to see an amazing sunrise at the Makapu'u lighthouse trail. We even saw whales playing in the morning rays. There was exceptional snorkeling at the Kaiiona park! There was so much to do relaxing on private beautiful serene beaches and eating all the local cuisine. The little Shima's supermarket had the most wonderful fresh papaya every day, but you have to get there early as it goes fast. They also have an Amazing Poke Bar that is a must see! Brian & Karen are so welcoming and wonderful! They really thought of all the comforts of home. There is a ceiling fan & area air conditioning unit that creates a very comfortable temperature. The unit is very roomy & even though it was only 2 of us we would have been still very comfortable with 4 people. We will definitely use this little hide-a-way in the future if there is availability. Mahalo for the Sweet Hawaiian Spirit of this Beachside Paradise!
We stayed for 6 nights (between Cristmas and New Year) at this property after spending 9 nights in Waikiki. It was really relaxing and tranquil 6 days after Waikiki crowds. The property is great for a family vacation. it is just seps away from the beach, and short driving distance from many attractions in that part of Oahu. Brian is a great host. We had lovely time in Waimanalo beach, and won't hesitate to go back again.
My daughter & I made our first visit to Hawaii in the middle of August & were fortunate enough to discover "Paradise Found" at Waimanalo Beach on Oahu. I had done a lot of research & originally had been looking for a place to stay near/on Waikiki. However, after reading all the reviews about how touristy & crowded Waikiki was, I decided we needed to find something a little less hectic on a beautiful, quiet beach. Paradise Found truly fits that bill! Karen & Brian are wonderful hosts! The suite is perfect for 2 adults but can accommodate up to 4 with the fold out futon. We visited in August & I was a little nervous that there was no air conditioning, but we were rarely inside during the day as we were out & and about enjoying our time at the beach. By evening, the cool breezes along with the fans were enough to keep us very comfortable. The location is residential & we felt like we had the gorgeous beach all to ourselves. I know if we go back to Oahu in the future this is exactly the place we'd stay at again & I have already recommended it to several of my friends.
My wife and I are truly happy that we stayed at Paradise Found in Waimanalo for the first six nights of our Hawaii holiday. I had lived everywhere in Hawaii for over nine years but I wanted my wife to experience the peace, quiet and tranquility of the “real” Hawaii and that is what we truly discovered in our perfect little getaway at Paradise Found.
From the moment we drove up late in the evening and were greeted by mischievous little Curly and Bella - they were most friendly and would follow me around every day, whenever I called out to them to come and play with me; to Brian and Karen the owners of the property, who warmly welcomed us into their home and were caring and considerate always. Indeed, we could not have asked for more for our six-day retreat. Brian and Karen were both extremely helpful but also very respectful of giving us our own space and privacy.
The house itself is cozy and tucked away in an absolutely peaceful and safe neighborhood – if stillness and harmony with nature and yourself is what you seek along with the surf and sea just a walk away from your doorstep, look no further than Paradise Found. The house is absolutely clean and tidy, well maintained and well-stocked with all amenities from kitchen appliances to cutlery and crockery. The room is airy and large with photographs and paintings adorning the wall, all done by Brian. He invited us to freely use all beach gear, including boogie boards, beach chairs and coolers and beach towels. We even wanted to have a Barbeque with our friends in the garden of the house and Brian very kindly cleaned out the grill.
The beach is a five minute walk across the street, and it was truly magical and enchanting – the waters were an azure blue, with the whole of the beach pretty much uncrowded and perfect, unlike Waikiki or any of the other numerous beaches. Even on the weekend, which is when we were there, we could actually count only about twenty people in all on the beach – all in all, Paradise Found is a unique little jewel, tucked away in Waimanalo!!
A super big thumbs-up to Paradise Found, definitely a wonderful place to stay. It is like entering a different world and really feels like home for anyone who steps into the house, surrounded by the charm and serenity of the property. We would confidently and completely recommend it to anyone in need of a delightful place to stay in
Where do I begin? From the moment we arrived the stress melted away. This was a wonderful retreat tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more bustling cities, yet close enough to hop in your car and scoot on down the road to some great restaurants (about 10 minutes from Kailua). This rental has all the amenities you could need and the rooms are very spacious so you don't feel as though you're in a cramped hotel room. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the wind blowing through the leaves of the trees every night.
Waimanalo beach was about a 1-2 minute walk from the house and is not crowded. It feels like your own personal piece of paradise. Plus it also close to a lot of the scenic photo opp areas on the island. When my husband and I went to downtown Waikiki one night he looked at me and said, "Thank you for not making us stay downtown".
Karen and Brian could not have been more welcoming and attentive, yet we felt like we were the only ones on the property. We were also greeted daily by Curly and Bella (sweet, sweet dogs) which made it easier to not miss our own dogs so much. I'm so glad we found this place!!!
We just got back yesterday;( We had a great time and loved the rental. We went with our four year old son and it was so nice to have him able to play in a fenced in back yard. He called it our "Hawaii house." It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel. We loved it, loved it, loved it. The beach was so close to the house and very quiet. We went to Waikiki for a wedding and I was so glad to get back to our little house on the quiet beach. I highly recommend this rental!
Lounge on the beach and watch the waves wash in, the clouds drift by, beach goers saunter by, and hang-gliders and para-sailors glide above the cliffs of Makapu'u. The Perfect Getaway, unhurried, unspoiled, and uncomplicated.
