This private and spacious beach retreat is 350 steps from the beach and 3 blocks from town center with excellent restaurants and lively nightlife. 3 bedrooms, great room (entertainment center and fireplace--wood provided) plus a loft (2nd TV, DVD, VCR) and sun room make this a spacious space for families or friends. Wireless internet and cable keeps you connected. Relax in the lush backyard, on the 2 decks, or on the screen porch. Fenced back yard is great for kids. Gas grill and well-equipped kitchen makes feasting at the beach easy. Bike to both ends of Folly where wildlife abound. Large paved area under house with ping pong table; great for play on those rainy days. . 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston, plantations, golf. 5 minute drive to major groceries, movie stores, seafood shops.

Another Awesome Folly Vacation

This was our second time staying in this house and we loved it even more than our first trip! We felt at home and completely comfortable in this wonderful home. We did a lot of cooking and everything we could ever need was provided and easy to find. The house was very clean and well organized when we arrived. The house's location is excellent; just a short walk to the beach or to downtown Folly. The owners are a joy to work with. We highly recommend this home to families. A perfect home for a perfect vacation. We can't wait to stay here again next year!

This Folly Beach house is spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped, centrally located and a joy to stay in. The kitchen included everything imaginable, the back yard was green and lush, the screened porch was great for morning coffee and perusing the daily paper - which happens to be delivered every morning. Walk to the beach and town center was short and enjoyable. Our vacation in Folly was wonderful !

Great Home in Folly Beach

Great location for the price, house is in great shape and the patio is definately a plus for anytime of the day. Literally less than 5 minutes from and beach and main strip in Folly Beach. We stayed for a week with a group of people and enjoyed our time in Folly Beach as well as downtown Charleston. Lu was great to work with and very accomadating! Will definately come back if possible!

GREAT STAY!

I rented this house in June 2010 for the week prior to my son's wedding. I needed a place for my entire family to be able to relax, have fun, enjoy the pre-wedding events and I also needed a place to hold the rehearsal dinner for a large crowd. This home was perfect. It was very clean and well maintained and Lu was a dream to work with. When I contacted her and told her what my needs were she was very excited to help and was willing to bend over backwards to meet my needs. There was ample parking on the premises for everyone to attend the dinner, the beach was a very short walk away and the home and the recreation area down below provided enough space and activities to keep everyone entertained and comfortable during the rehearsal dinner. Lu was also gracious enough to allow us to bring our two dogs. It was so nice to be able to have them there and not have to worry about what was going on with the animals while attending to the wedding details. The fenced back yard is considerably larger than the pictures indicate and was perfect for the safety and comfort of my pets. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a clean, relaxing experience at a beautiful beach. I know we will certainly be contacting Lu again when we have the time to visit Folly Beach again.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had the pleasure of renting this wonderful home the last weekend of October. The house was very spacious with common areas to enjoy as a family as well as areas to escape. The porch was a wonderful place to enjoy coffee in the morning and the firepit in the quaint backyard a place to enjoy on a cool evening. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and having their "own space". The house is centrally located with a short walk to both the beach and the Downtown Folly area. The best part of this home is that it is pet friendly. We were able to include "Roxy" in our family getaway. We hope to escape back to this wonderful home in the future.
