The house is located on a bluff that overlooks emerald lakes and the beaches of Kachemak Bay just below.

Guestbook comments from the owner
Thank you so much for letting us stay for the weekend. We loved it. We don't want to leave. It is so quiet and the morning is beautiful and even more beautiful is sunset. It was sooo pretty. We just sat and watched it till it turned night.
We are both long time Alaskans who discovered all the amazing things about Homer and have made it our home. We love to fish, hike, bird-watch and kayak and living in Homer has made these activities available right out our door. We share our local knowledge with our visitors and especially love to share our Alaska.
The amazing thing about this property is the privacy and the view. The most frequent comment I get from our guests is how greatly their expectations of the cottage were exceeded when they walk through the door.
My favorite feature of the house is watching the antics of the big birds playing stick-drop and aero-bomber with each other on breezy days.
