Great vacation place -- wonderful house

Our family loved our stay here, plain and simple.
The house is big and airy, with plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms for our extended family. Clean, roomy bedrooms, classic Maine charm with modern facilities and comforts of home. House has vaulted ceilings with wood beams and skylights in the kitchen, plenty of sunlight and fresh sea air/ wave sounds from the many windows -- and literally a few houses away from both the natural neighborhood beach and larger public beach with snack bar, showers, and toilets. Nature lovers will love this location.
Easy walk to the old fort, waterfront dining, dock fishing, kayaking, shell and beachglass hunting, and the best breakfast place we've ever been. Our kids climbed the apple trees while we slept in the hammack on the front yard, or sipped cocktails on the front deck. We rode our bikes out to the Lighthouse, and then stopped back at town on the way back to dine waterside with lobster rolls and ice cream at Shaw's.
This place and location had it all, the real feel and charm of a fishing/lobster community, combined with vacation and tourist-friendly activities and things to see and do within steps of the house. Close to the lobster co-op for the best freshest lobsters ever had, the town of New Harbor which is right off a post card, and Pemaquid light house -- which is honored on the State quarter.
We loved our Maine vacation, the Pemequid Point beach location, and all the house had to offer. We plan to make it back each summer, and hope to make this a new family tradition.
