A group of us stayed here the first week of Jan, 2010. Although it was extremely cold (high 30's at night and low 50's daytime) Walter agreed to crank up the heat in the pool although there was no obligation on his part. The house was EXTREMELY clean, well decorated, and had a very homey feel to it. Pool area was well maintained with several loungers and chairs available. Dining area has seating for up to 8 people which is good when you have both sides of duplex. Bedrooms are perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4. Kitchen was well equipped with neccessities such as blenders, coffee makers, icemakers and very adequate utensils and kitchenware. The location is very central, about 15 minutes from the airport, less than 3 miles east of I-95 and a couple streets north of East Oakland Park Blvd. The neighbourhood is very safe and mid-high end, particularly for going for morning walks. Coral Ridge Mall is a 3 minute walk where you can get shop and buy food/liquor.
I would highly recommend this rental to couples, families, and seniors.
