This new 250-m2 villa on a small hilltop with commanding mountain views is surrounded by over seven acres of countryside dominated by ancient Holm oaks. To the West you enjoy the spectacular view of the Grazalema mountains and to the South you look into the tranquil valley of Tajo del Abanico. The villa comprises a lounge, a dining room, a large kitchen with a separate storage room, four good-sized double bedrooms, three bathrooms (two en-suite) and a guest toilet. Each of the main rooms is equipped with large, antique fans and, in addition, the four bedrooms have powerful air-conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay and a pleasant night’s sleep for eight adults. There are several large terraces with breathtaking views plus a small veranda. The large main swimming-pool (15m x 5m) and linked small pool (2m x 3m) for children and non-swimmers are surrounded by trees, lawns and sunbathing terraces. The whole pool area is completely private and shielded by large Holm oaks.

The villa is just 3km from the town of Ronda, yet seems so far from any town or city life. There are many hiking trails in the area, including one beautiful trail starting about 100m from the entrance to the land taking you into the nearby valley, Tajo del Abanico, a valley rich in flora and fauna and with astonishing caves and rock formations. Incidentally, this area was used in 1984 for the filming of Carmen and it is not difficult to imagine smugglers having used this path. Also, within a short distance of Ronda, you find several Natural Parks, including the Sierra de Los Nieves and the Grazalema Natural Park, all of which offers great opportunities for outdoor activities.

Notes: The villa would suit two families travelling together and there are also various games for children available. Two of the bedrooms and the kitchen are on a different level and not easily accessible for a person in a wheelchair. The kitchen is fully-equipped for the gourmet cook, and has a separate breakfast area with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Excellent for day trips: The town of Ronda is, of course, a major attraction in its own right but is also a great starting point for trips around southern Andalusia and the Pueblos Blancos (‘the white villages’). Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla and Malaga are all easily reached on day trips as is the coast along the Mediterranean with its many beaches and golf courses. It is even possible to visit Morocco in a day if you use the high-speed ferries from Tarifa or Algeciras.

I have rented properties in many different European countries, but I have never stayed in a rental that was almost as much an attraction as the area until this past week. Finca Bella Vista is an incredibly lovely property with views that the lovely photos on the site do not do justice. Highly, highly recommended!

Fantastic place to go, the house is so well equiped, very spacious, and the kitchen is a dream for those who love to cook... Great value for money with adults in a large party, the views are stunning and you have lovely terraces to admire them from all through the day and night. So close to the beautiful town of Ronda, Pueblos Blancos and train rides to Cordoba and Granada.

Would go back anytime to this wonderful property

Relaxing break with stunning views

An excellent well-appointed property in a stunning location. Plenty of terraces to sit and the holm oaks give welcome areas of shade. The small pool was great for our 4 year old to splash around in and the main pool kept teenagers cool and lighting allowed for night swimming as well. The owner was easily contactable and provided useful information and a friendly gardener visits every other day. Found some good places to eat but mainly shopped and cooked in. A car is essential.

A luxury villa & pool with amazing views. The perfect place for a relaxing week away in the sunshine with friends or family...

Note. Ronda is about 1 mile from this property, with beautiful restuarants and cafes. If you are the adventerous type you can drive to Marbella or Seville within an hour.
