Our family enjoyed our week's vacation in Ogunquit. The rental house was perfect -- clean, nicely furnished and provided us with all the essentials. Having the linens and towels available was a great convenience and the welcome package was appreciated. The downstairs apartment gave us the added privacy we wanted. The rental was located close to the center of town/beach but we needed to take the car as my husband has a heart condition and couldn't manage the steep inclines of the streets. We were able to obtain paid parking throughout the week for our activities.

A great place for vacation//

This is my second time going to this home for vacation. I have been going to york, me for 36 years. We just happened to take a ride up to the next town. We fell in love with it. My 3 grand kids enjoy it so much. This year the weather was perfect/// we spent all day at the beach and walked to town at night. We took the trolley several times . This house is on a quiet street and is the perfect home for vacationers of all kinds.... we ate breakfast and dinner on the lovely patio. The welcome basket- I have never had one before// What wonderful way to greet us on our vacations. You work so hard during the year. You deserve to treat yourself to a vacation once a year// I would rate this home a 5.. You could not find a better place to stay//

The Best Vacation Ever!

We had an amazing week in Ogunquit at this house. The house was perfect for two families. We each had our own space when needed and then plenty of space to hang out together. We loved all the furnishings. The house was very clean. The full baths were big and spacious! The washer and dryer was very helpful with all of the beach gear and kids stuff! The gift basket upon arrival was a nice touch, especially the bottled water! We can't wait to come back!

Another Lovely Visit

The first night we arrived at the lovely home tucked away on a quiet street in Ogunquit, we sat on the deck, with lights edging the rails and under the patio umbrella, and my husband and I both said "we love this house!" Our second visit to this home and our 26th year in Ogunquit. The owner made several outstanding renovations this year that made the trip even more enjoyable. A new hot tub, comfortable and spacious living room furniture, brand new deck furniture and many other extras. It is a perfect home for our family: 2.5 year old and our 16 year old daughter brought a friend and they stayed in the downstairs apartment where they had their own 'space.' It rained a few times this year, but we all were able to hang out and watch one of the many movies generously provided and relax in the awesome brand new hot tub decorated with multi-colored flip flop lights that made it fun!. The quick walk to the beach allows for a little exercise and to admire the residential feel of the community and quaint town. Thanks for another wonderful week, see you next year!

August 2008 Our Eighth time in Ogunquit

The location of this gem, is what made our visit so perfect. Our family has vacationed many times in Ogunquit and always stayed at the various hotels on Shore Rd. First time renting a house and I would recommend this one, for sure. The owner has done a great job renovating and decorating this beach house and I hope we can do our week next year in the same place.Just get to the house and walk to the town and beach. A surprise welcome basket and call from the owner to see how we were doing gives you an idea of how this owner treats his guests.
