Come to Newport and enjoy your vacation in a beautiful cottage by the seaside. This Easton's Point, one bedroom cottage has all the amenities needed for a home away from home. This newly renovated property has a beautiful kitchen, bath, bedroom and living room with pull-out couch for extra sleeping. We provide all linens, cooking utensils and dishware etc. Enjoy beautiful summer sunsets overlooking the ocean, barbeques on the patio, views of the Mansions and famed Cliff Walk and peaceful walks to the beach and shoreline.

No matter what your interests, Newport and the surrounding areas of Middletown and Portsmouth will provide you with plenty of things to do. Whether you enjoy water sports and activities, such as sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, etc., you will find rental shops and lessons nearby or if walking and discovering shops and restaurants is your choice you'll find that also. Newport is home to the world famous Bellevue Ave. Mansions and the famed Cliff Walk. Both within view and minutes from the property. The 10 mile Ocean Drive is nearby and great for both driving and biking. Children's activities can be found at any of the 3 beaches in the area. They include a carousel and aquarium at Easton's (also known as 'First') Beach. Surfboard and kayak rentals at Sachuest (also known as 'Second') Beach, and windsurfing rentals and lessons at Third Beach. Not to mention the Norman Bird Sanctuary and Sachuest Point for those looking for some of nature's beauty to hike and enjoy.

My 3 friends and I just returned and while the weather was not what we hoped for on a beach weekend, the cottage was as promised. Although small and probably better suited for a couple instead of 4 people expecting to spend the majority of their time at the beach, the cottage was spotlessly clean, and really well stocked with supplies. It is adjacent to the owner's home, with a shared yard and driveway (off-street parking, YAY!), so this is NOT a party house, and that was fine for our purposes. We were left to our privacy and the family was readily available for any questions or needs that may arise. It has beautiful water views and is very close to the beach. While the trip did not meet our plans, weather-wise, I would gladly recommend this property as a nice alternative to a hotel.
